Ed Caufield and is team are top notch!
Mom had attic leak that created large amount of water damage in attic and floor/ceiling below. Since it is plaster and lath the job was messy and difficult to do well. Once the paint was on and job complete, the repair is undetectable.
Whatever was asked of Ed he did with a smile. His workman were as nice as he was. When the job was complete they left the house cleaner than when they arrived. Extra work requested was done without difficulty and at a fair price.They were friendly, pleasant, on time, professional and the quality of work exceptional.
Would highly recommend them to anyone and certainly intend to utilize their services again!!

Excellent work. All questions and concerns answered in a professional manner. Some siding had to be removed to install the overhang and it was done perfectly. Matching shingles were found for the overhang and weaved into the existing roof. A new structural column was installed. The contractor got the permits and arranged for the inspections. I would definitely recommend Caulfield Home Contracting.

Magnificently. Could not have asked for better.
The insurance company was giving us the run around and Mr. Caulfield waited until we got that sorted out.
He came when scheduled and did what needed doing promptly.

Ed sees the problem and knows how to fix it which is exactly what I needed. He works efficiently and cleanly and I really couldn't imagine a better job to be done. He also promised to return to the job to finish some paint work that would finish the project completely and professionally. I would recommend Ed as well as calling him back for any further work that needs to be done.

Ed was fantastic! He understand our urgency to remove our existing sliding glass door and was able to deliver. He was on time, extremely polite, and left the work area clean. He was very honest and fair with pricing. We would absolutely recommend him and plan on using him for a future project.

I needed a shower surround replaced in my basement bathroom. Ed showed up on time and was very professional. My bathroom looks fantastic!!! He kept it neat and clean and worked late to finish the job. I am SO happy with this company that I am hiring them again for more work on my house.

The experience was first class from beginning to end. Ed looked at the pictures and advised what materials I need to purchase. He was very detailed on my options. I had to reschedule the appointment a couple of times due to my schedule and he was very accommodating. His responses on sms were prompt.
On the day of work Edward was right on time and went to work right away. Very productive through out the day. I was tagging him all day and he did not mind that and explained what he was doing and why. The end result was very professional. He cleaned up perfectly after himself. I had a few other jobs that he accepted was not his primary skill and would refer me to a dependable person to follow up my work. Not giving specific details here.
And the promotion also helped. He saved me at least a $100 from other offers for same job. I would definitely hire any time.

Edward is a true professional. Always arrives on time , trustworthy and always returns the call. We constructed a fourth bedroom and his work was very professional. We are very pleased and extremely satisfied with the outcome. Everyday they would cleanup and give us our space. Also the quote for the work was reasonable. Overall we like his work.

Everything went smoothly and turned out looking great! They are a nice crew and really went the extra mile to keep the house as clean as possible while all the work was going on. Plastic barriers were put up to minimize dust outside the work zone. They swept up at the end of each day and were a pleasure to have around.
When it came to the custom work we left it all up to them. Of course, before they did anything they would always ask our opinion. Usually we right on board with their vision! In the end, we couldn't have been more pleased with the design and craftsmanship. It honestly came out better than we could have imagined. The big, ugly, white brick fireplace surround is gone and now in its place is a beautifully crafted custom mantle, shelves and cabinets.
They also did our roof a few years back and it's been problem-free and beautiful ever since.
Caulfield Home Contracting was a pleasure to work with and we have no doubt we will use them again in the near future.

Perfectly. He was extremely knowledgeable, gave us recommendations on the type of tile, the different ways it could be laid out, what would make more sense for us and make our bathrooms look better. He accompanied us to different tile places to help us pick out the tile and other fixtures for the bathrooms. He completed the work faster than expected. His attention to detail is phenomenal, the quality of work is outstanding. It's been two years and our bathrooms still look new and we love them.
