They're good.

For the delivery, they have good service and price and that is an A. For the mechanical, I would give a B. They are well-trained.

The man was very friendly and the service was fast. No hassles or run around. Very pleased with Woodruff.!

We decided to use Woodruff Energy after receiving a letter in the mail from them when we moved into our new home in Pitman, NJ and after checking their reviews on Angie's List. Every time I've called, the person on the phone has been polite, friendly, and professional. Their delivery person was very friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Because they had not delivered to our home before, they asked that someone be present for the first delivery. They were prompt on the day of the appointment, although it would've been helpful to have an estimated time of delivery, they came early enough in the morning that it didn't really matter. Everything went smoothly and we were extremely satisfied with the experience. We definitely plan to use Woodruff Energy again.

On time, price is good too.

I've been using woodruff for about 10 years now. I use them for oil delivery and service. They always arrive within the time frame they give you, usually about 4hrs. They are a little more expensive than other companies, but do a good job on the first time. I've found that you get faster service response if you are an oil customer than if you are not. In the years I've been using them, I've had only a few issues with service, once the rep they sent could not fix the problem himself, and had to wait for help, but did get my heat back on that same day. I find it easier to use their auto delivery service and budget plan. I don't have to worry about checking my oil level or running out because they come out 1 a month during heating season and top off the tank.

They were professional and very thorough. The representative talked to us at length about our needs and spent a lot of time evaluating our current system to see what would be necessary. He seemed quite knowledgeable. They are sending us a quote which will include parts and labor, and we're waiting to see how that compares with the other companies we've spoken with. Friends have used Woodruff for many years and are highly complimentary regarding their service, prices, and responsiveness in times of breakdowns. An additional plus for Woodruff would be that they could also supply us with propane, which would constitute one-stop shopping for all of our energy needs.

The A.C. coils were leaking all down the heater and over the basement floor (The coils were probably 40 years old.).  Woodruff came out the very next day and diagnosed the problem. I spoke with them over the phone to discuss my options, and they were very helpful and took a lot of time with me. They promptly ordered the parts and came out to do the installation as soon as the parts arrived.  The technician was polite, friendly, and very thorough.  I could tell he knew exactly what he was doing. My family has used Woodruff for years, and we have always been satisfied with their services.

They are very professional.  They have been around for a long time, and they are very professional.  They are good people to deal with. 

The guy I dealt with was Paul and he is just really good. He shows up when he is supposed to. He is reasonable in price.

Our story starts with what smelled like burning wires or plastic. After tracking the smell down, it led us to our second floor heater, located in our attic. We have always been diligent about maintaining our heater/ac systems and have always had maintenance contracts with who we felt were honest, reputable companies. Unfortunately, due to negligence from our "trusted" heater company(name withheld to protect embarrassment) that we dealt with for years, during yearly heater maintenance, major parts were overlooked. We had always heard good words about Ron Woodruff and HIS company, that we thought we would take a chance, call their company and get his opinion. He immediately saw the problems and explained, among other things, that the incorrect heater was installed in an "unconditioned" area such as an attic is. We received a detailed quote of what needed to be done, when, etc. Ron, Jr., and his team arrived the following week, clean, neat and professional - taking every care to keep my carpets clean and indoor cats safe when coming in and out as needed. They not only did everything they promised in their quote but went above and beyond when they didn't have to. There were no hidden fees and they took the time to show and explain everything they found installed or operating incorrectly with the old system.

We cannot say enough about how Ron and his team restored our faith in a service oriented company such as theirs.

A total of 3 service people had to work on my heater. They were prompt and professional. However, the work that was performed during the day did not ultimately correct the problem, and they had to send another person out to solve the problem that evening. (He actually had to call in another man to help.) Of course, when I got the bill for the services, it included both the day and evening work. When I called the office to explain the situation, the manager was so friendly and helpful. He immediately corrected my bill and thanked me for my business. A few people told me to expect a fight to get my bill corrected, however, it was not necessary at all. It is such a rare occasion to have a company, who sells a necessity, to be courteous and ethical. A rare treat.

The work was done quickly and efficiently. I like that they were very clean when installing the units.
