Only a few blocks away from where John and Betsy Ross opened their own upholstery shop, Melanie Belinsky opened her store in the fall of 2010. Although it cant's be traced all the way back bock to Betsy, Melanie has a natable upholstery lineage. She apprenticed for six years in her father's shop, learning from his 45 years of experience. har father, Paul, learned from a man named Frank Sullivan. Frank learned the trade from Oshkar Huber Sr. in Northeast Philadelphia.
