I found water in my basement and thought a pipe had burst. I called Safeway Development and spoke to Greg. I explained the situation to him and was told he would be here in about three hours. I was really worried that my basement was going to flood and told Greg that my husband was out of town and I didn't have any idea what to do. Fifteen minutes later he called back and said he was on his way. When he got here, he inspected the area that was wet and determined a pipe had in fact burst and the water was not only coming through the ceiling but was also running along the pipe and down the inside if the wall. By removing the ceiling tiles Greg was able to replace the pipe and stop the leak. He removed the standing water that was on the floor and told me it would have been much worse if I hadn't found it when I did! He sealed the area in plastic and said he would be back tomorrow. The following day Greg came back to address the water damage that was on the wall. He sealed himself, his employee, and two big machines in with the mold. He removed the damaged sheetrock from the wall and showed me pics of mold that had formed and must have been there for a while. He removed the mold (not sure how because I was not in the basement while he did that) and told me he would be back the next day to make my basement "good as new". When Greg came back, he replaced the sheetrock, insulation, ceiling tiles and molding and to my surprise, he had taken a piece of the wall he removed to the store with him and had the paint color matched and repainted the wall for me! He left my basement looking better than new. Three days later I got an air quality test result from a lab Greg uses which gave me the all clear. I could not have asked for more and would highly recommend Safeway Development.
