After a few months they did a follow call to make sure everything was OK. We would definitely use them again.

Let me start out by saying that I joined Angie's List to try to find the right contractor to redo my bay windows in a PVC material. The ironic thing is that it helped to lead me to a neighbor, who happens to be a great contractor. I have 2 bay windows that were sided with a wood facade that was rotting away. I know that part of the wood was replaced before I owned the house, and was painted a few times, but the damage was getting worse by the day. I knew I wanted to have these redone with a PVC material so I could have it last virtually forever. Knowing that I would be spending more for Azek material, it made finding the right contractor even more important. After meeting with with Steve, I knew I found the right person for the job. He showed me pictures of some similar jobs he has done and spoke about how he would like to add some little touches to the bay windows instead of just giving me a carbon copy of what I had previously. So I was a little nervous to see how bad the structure would be beneath the rotted wood and while there was some damage, the bigger issue to me was that whoever "fixed" the bay windows prior put the Tyvex back on the wrong way, so water would run down beneath the Tyvex and the house structure. Well Steve went above and re-wrapping the windows with Tyvex and using liberal amount of Tyvex tape to ensure the structure is waterproof for ever. Just knowing how well they are sealed, really put my mind at ease. While everything was exposed, he also found nails missing from a couple window frames and went ahead and fixed those up as well. Any bad wood was also replaced. Steve's attention to the details is what really separates his work from others. Now that everything was fixed right on the things you would never see, it was time to get to see the "real" work begin. Again the attention to the little things is what really set my bay windows apart. He used gloves while handling the material to prevent marks, beveled all edges (which made a huge difference) and wasn't afraid to spend a little extra time to get the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle to fit perfectly. I mentioned earlier how he said he wanted to add some little touches and boy did he. First he added crown molding to the tops of each, but then also put crown molding half way up the 2 story window to break it up. He used lots of different little molding and really made the house pop. I wish I could upload a picture as it would be much easier to explain. When all the neighbors drive by and say how great it looks and that they want to do the same thing now, you know you made the right choice. In short I would highly recommend Steve, he is trustworthy and highly skilled at his craft.
