Broke our system after spending 3.5hrs yesterday. We go to turn on the system today to circulate the pool— water come shooting out, system is not working. And a kinked o-ring. Not to mention how nasty the two workers were with each other while working on the pool. Call today and we are told that we are essentially out of luck and there is nothing they can do. We have a Labor Day bbq tomorrow and no pool working. Mind you WORKING JUST FINE BEFORE THEY CAME. Only had them coming to make sure all is good and clean with any more chemicals etc. On top of that, last fall/winter when they closed pool they ended up leaving pits out behind the pump and we had no idea until spring— never thought I’d have to verify a companies work, what’s the point in having a company service when they clearly are unprofessional and can’t even service my pool without breaking the system. Negligence. NOT HAPPY— would NOT recommend. Have given them more than one chance to redeem and just been nothing but h***. Shame on us for continuing to go back and giving benefit of the doubt. BEWARE!

I use Kinney Pools for my weekly pool maintenance during the summer months and I also use their winter watch program. They have been nothing but courteous and accommodating with all my dumb questions! lol I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

They put in a new liner that floated the next year.  They were scheuled to have the liner replaced by September but it took two months for them to complete. My concern was with winter coming and us going away on vacation. They assured us that we would not have to fill the pool after they replaced the liner. The next summer, when we opened the pool, we found the liner was floating and destroyed. When we called Kinney Pools, they would not return our calls after many tries. They finally came and drained the water out of the pool. Then left it baked in the sun for 2 months. We had to hire another company to come and do the best they could to fix the now streched and ripped liner. We even had to take them to court and they were ordered to pay $350 back to us. We had paid over $2,000 for the the liner and that's what it cost to have the liner somewhat repaired $350.. I personlly wouldn't give them a dime of business and glad I now have an opportunity to let others know not to do business with them. Thank You for Angies List.
Response from Kinney Pools
"We sincerely apologize if you had a negative experience with us. Our records indicate that we last serviced your address in 2001. Since then we have made many changes and would love the opportunity to service you in the future."

They came under price with the liner. They came on the day they told me to be there, but they only drained the pool. The weather wasn't working with them but they would never tell us when they were showing up, or they would tell me they were coming and wouldn't show up. Certain things they did to the pool they should have done differently but I found out after the fact. They wanted all of the money paid in full as soon as the pool started to fill up but they weren't done with the job yet. They did two concrete pads for me but they didn't use any reinforcing wire and now the concrete is not level. It was supposed to take one week, two weeks max, but it took a month. I was going to buy a safety cover from them but after they took so long, I refused to. I tried to talk to the owner but every time I called, he was never around. The ladies that were doing scheduling blamed me for all of the time overrun. It was just a chore because they would come in and do an hour's worth of work then leave.
