A1 Tree Service

The clearing was ok. Doesn't really look like it was completed. Took down a 10 year old red maple that was not part of the job and was not supposed to be removed. Also dragged some kind of debris across the backyard and scraped up a paver patio and tore every branch off of a 4 year dogwood tree that was 30 feet from where they were working

The workers are nice and cool but not their performance. They broke many of my properties and did not clean up well at end of job. And few more thing that did disappointment.

They started on time when they said they would. They took down everything I asked for and cleaned up the mess, stacking wood by the fence and being very respectful of our property and our neighbors. They trimmed the branches over the house  and ground the stumps. They cleaned up my apple tree.  I asked my neighbor who was home all day while I was at work how it went and he had nothing but good things to say. He said they were very professional and when he is ready to take his tree down in the fall he is going to call them.
I would highly recommend this company. I would definitely call them again. Ask for Shawn he is the best.

The evergreens around my 90 year old mother's beach house were dying. She's living with us over two hours away, and the logistics of getting to the house to hire and supervise a contractor at that time were close to impossible. Two other companies I had contacted never got back to me.
Took a chance and called A-1 without knowing anything about them. They were already working in the area that day; went to the house and gave me a reasonable estimate. The job was done right away, cleaned up nicely, and before and after pictures sent via email before I was charged.
Easiest transaction ever.

They cut down a tree in the front that was about to fall on the electrical wires and a tree in the back that was about to fall on my house. They did a good job, I just felt like the price was expensive. The people that performed the work were nice though.
