Jim Stohr and Colonial are the best. And I am not one who throws accolades around for contractors. In fact, those who know me say that if I like a contractor, they don't have to do homework! :)
I needed to replace an old oil boiler, 1959 which was on its last legs. Needed to convert from a coil heat to an indirect to save $.
The existing system was drinking oil like my old boss drank whiskey - incessantly - and it was costing me a ton. In the summer months I had to fill it up twice.
Jim came recommended by another contractor (who was also highly rated). That other contractor did not do oil-to-oil, just oil-to-gas). I contacted Jim and explained what I was looking for. He told me about Energy Kinetic's and their system and products. Never heard of them, but I did a lot of research and was impressed with the company and the unbiased testimonials from others.
Jim came by, looked at what I had, explained the options and showed how the EnergyKinetics system saves ~40% of fuel. I also like the fact they are AMERICAN made and the company is based in NJ.
Jim and his team, Debbie, who is a star in her own right - came to the house and installed the system. They are professional, courteous and they cleaned up everything. Jim came back to make a slight tweak and adjustment to the system and I did not have one issue since day one.
Part of a big ticket item is customer service and Jim takes pride in providing stellar service. He and Debbie both have the same Energy Kinetics system and that tells you something.
The unit is quiet, and keeps the house warm. (We had ours installed during some cold spring days, so we got to test it out).
I will say this, the oil savings is great. I have been looking at the gauge for nearly a month and it barely budged. This unit is a miser (yeah, like that crazy old uncle we all have who saves everything and spends nothing) when it comes to fuel. Plus, taking hot showers now is abreeze. (My old coil unit only heated the water for five minutes).
I can go on and on singing the praise for Colonial (and I will). But do yourself a favor. If you are looking at replacing an oil/gas burner, make sure Jim and Colonial are on your list.
I am happy I did.
And, to close my note here...I NEVER thought I would get excited talking about oil burners, but, let me tell you, I learned a lot and my passion too is to let people know about great things.

I contacted colonial as they were referred as a premier dealer of the boiler I have (Energy Kinetics). As a more complicated than average heating system, I wanted to have it looked over by someone knowledgeable. 
I spoke to the owner Jim, who was very responsive, he set me up with an appointment for an inspection, cleaning and tune up quickly and talked me through all the work. His price was very reasonable and I won't ever hesitate to call if something comues up down the road (hopefully just next year's service).
