Leo, the main coordinator and manager of the project was great at handling everything from initial estimates, follow-throughs, permits and quality of work. He was very clear about all costs and did the job on time.

We just had our basement finished. Not re-finished but finished for the first time. The house was built in 1924 with a dirt floor in the basement and low hanging pipes, overall a very challenging job. We wanted to turn it to a family room with a full bath, laundry room, closets, etc. Joe's guys (Chico and Javier) did a fantastic job. They are knowledgeable, thorough, thoughtful, and creative. We would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

The clean-up left much to be desired. 12 out of 16 recessed light bulbs were covered with debris from construction material that I was unable to remove. The workers put them back up that way. Also one of the hats was missing & not replaced. Aside from this the, quality of the work was good. Too bad they chose to leave with these and several other annoyances. R.Lucas

During the initial quote process Tom was very knowledgeable and put together a great plan for basement remodeling. My basement was transformed from the style of 50's to a modern basement that I can enjoy with my family. The staff was friendly and worked diligently 6 days a week without interrupting to my day. I received updates through the project from Tom on the progress. The company provided completive rates and this was the best money spent. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for quality work, your will not be disappointed.

The men I dealt with - Charles and Dave Moore were friendly, professional, prompt and accomplished everything asked for.

They were terrific for the price they charged. They came up with great ideas to improve the layout of our basement. They were very knowledgeable. They received our indecisiveness, concerns and criticisms promptly and immediately changed course without much resistance. They were very professional and generally great guys. The only thing was some minor details in the workmanship. Nothing I care about in my basement but would have been upset about anywhere else in my house. Partly my own fault since they did several final walk throughs and I missed them each time.

This was one of the best decisions I ever made. Gary was professional at all times, no pressure, and offered a great plan for the basement. He was extremely knowledgeable and spent quite a bit of time going through the details of the project. The work crew that completed the project was a pleasure to deal with. Are sales guy Gary Cooper was involved through out the entire project. The workers at the house were very nice to deal with and had no problems with them being in the house while we were at work and with the dog there. All workers were a pleasure to work with and treated my house as my house and not their work place. A great company to deal with and will tell others to use them.

Joe was a pleasure to work with, as were his staff. They were neat and curteous, and finished the job in a timely manner. I have already made a positive referral on their behalf to someone else considering his services in the local area. We met with three basement system companies and received 3 presentations/estimates before making our selection. The BBC offered the best product for the price and the most up-front pricing/sales presentation.

The Better Basement Company performed as promised and beyond. The staff I dealt with were extremely responsive, both during the design phase and the work phase. Ironically, the day they arrived to start my project, we found water in the basement and could not locate the source. Rather than walking away, the Better Basement Company assisted us in troubleshooting the problem. I have worked with other contractors on other projects I have done in my home, but by far the easiest and most pleasant company to deal with has been the Better Basement Company. The project was clearly explained to me, in connection with the detailed estimate provided. The workers who did the physical work were very courteous and accommodating to all my questions and minor changes. Because they only do basements, the Better Basement Company has a true expertise in the appropriate design and materials to use for this type of project and were able to work with my low ceiling to maximize my use of space. I can not recommend them highly enough.
