Had a great experience. All of our door openers are from Overhead Door and one of them broke after 15+ years so we called Overhead to install a new motor they had on offer. We left a voice mail the first day which didn't get a call back but got through to John the second time. We setup an appointment for a week out and the experience kept getting better. Marco called us a few minutes before arriving, showed up on time, and did a great job with the install. The install itself was very clean and completed in under a couple of hours. We are very satisfied with the motor they recommended (Liftmaster 8550W) and with Marco's service. We are now replacing out a second garage door motor with them. We recommend them - ask for Marco!

Earlier that day my garage door broke. As I entered our neighborhood I spotted the Overhead door truck. I stopped and asked the repairman (David James) if he had time to fix my door. He was polite and said sure! He could fix it right now! As he inspectd my door he told me what was wrong as well as a potential hazard. He also check my 2 other doors and determined that our center stall was in need of repair as well. He did the work! Now my 17 yr old doors sound like new! They are SUPER quiet now! Everything was great!! I highly recommend Overhead doors and David James!

We had an 18 year old opener (also Overhead Door) die. Because if the long life we experienced with that one, going with another Overhead Door model was a no-brainer. We tried calling, but for some reason the answering service did not relay the call info. Rather than throw up my hands, I messaged them on Facebook. Jay, one of the owners, responded within minutes. We messaged back and forth to determine our needs. He then personally called the manager, John, of the Central Jersey store. John called my husband right away and they wasted no time getting us an appointment that was convenient. Fast forward to today. Marco arrived early for our appointment. He came with a positive attitude and a smile on his face. He had to remove our old control buttons and did his best to cover as much of the "damaged" area as possible. The entire garage was clean from start to finish. He even knocked on our door to let us know it had started raining since our Jeep was outside with the top off! After the install, Marco took time to show us all the features our new unit has. I would seriously never use another company! I wish more businesses would take a page from Overhead Door's customer service policy!

In short, I called yesterday afternoon; within 24 hours had a safe, fully operable door. The technician, Marco, was professional, polite and very efficient. Absolutely no complaints and nothing but positives from using Overhead Door. It’s on my “prestigious” and not very long list of first rate service companies! Great job Marco!

Great job by Overhead Door. Had both garage doors and openers replaced on 11/4/2017. Carl hooked us up in the showroom with nice software that showed us how our door would look on our house. This allowed us to pick out exactly what we wanted by being able to look quickly at multiple designs at once. The price was competitive and the work performed by Rick and Justin was professional. I was impressed at the care that was taken with the installation and especially the cleanup. They left my garage cleaner then it was when they arrived.

One of the garage door springs broke, which meant that the door could not be opened by the motor or manually (emergency release affected too). I scheduled Overhead Door Co. (spoke with Phil) to repair on Feb. 18, 2016, and was charged for the replacement of two springs, lube, and service of the door ($170.13). After the repair by Tech David, I noticed the next day that one door panel edge had white drywall on the exterior brown paint and that the panel was catching on the interior wall when closing (scraping the brown paint). I contacted Phil, and Tech David came back on Feb. 23 and said this was a preexisting problem. I challenged David's remark and he immediately got in his truck and left. This was not a preexisting issue. It is apparent that Tech David did not service the door properly. He also never mentioned that there was another problem when is was servicing the door on Feb. 18. I immediately contacted Phil (Overhead Door), who said he listens to his technician and not the customer!

I received a call back from the service department after inquiring about a new opener. They asked me some simple questions about my garage door and the track. They presented a few options (openers, remote keypad, battery backup) which I found helpful. The additional costs were reasonable on the options, so I upgraded my initial selection. We scheduled an installation date/time at my convenience.
Tim arrived right on time, was very skilled and experienced and did an excellent job. He inspected my door and track and made sure that all was operating properly. He found a damaged pulley and suggested that it be replaced. I agreed and braced myself for the bad news. It never came. Tim explained that because he was here already, it would only be a nominal cost - and nominal it was. I really appreciate contractors who are honest, only replace what's needed and charge fair prices for repairs.
Bottom line: Liftmaster opener is so quiet no one can tell when I come home!

These guys were great. The owner came out and took all the door measurements and answered all our questions. He was always prompt with replies via phone and email. The quote came in lower than one of the local competitors and so we went with them. I'm also very happy with the quality of the work that was done. The new doors look and work great. Whole job was done in less than a day.

They replaced the battery first and that went fine. I called them back today as my garage door was still screeching and they did not charge me a service charge to come out. They told me I needed new springs which I purchased for $198. After installing the springs, they tested the door and the screech was still there. The gentleman told me it has to do with the vibration on the belt from the lift master. Had I known that in the first place, I wouldn't have purchased the springs. I contacted Lift Master to see what I should do and I'm waiting for them to follow up with me.

Visited the showroom to discuss replacement of very old Overhead Door opener that still worked, however remotes did not and were not readily or cost effectively replaceable. Tom took the time to demonstrate and explain differences between models, encouraging consideration of least expensive model ultimately purchased. He also included expired coupons I'd seen online and I was really pleased with the cost. Phil called exactly when Tom said he would to schedule installation, and Marc showed up exactly when arranged. Marc programmed remotes, showed me where and how this was done, helped me program keypad, and showed how to keep moving parts properly lubricated. I think he left the garage cleaner than he found it and I'm very pleased with new opener. That it's much quieter than old model is icing on the cake!

Door would not open. I called prior week. He came MOnday. He did basic maintenance which may not have been done for years. He replaced gear in opener, replaced springs, installed safety cables.
He was pleasant, appeared capable, and did the work quickly. The door works well now. I don't know prices for this work.

This was the 2nd time we called the company for our motorized garage door; on the 1st visit in 2011, for less than $150, the repairman - who was very nice and polite - arrived on time, replaced the snapped and tangled cable and springs quickly and expertly, and made the door function better than it was when we bought the house in the 1990s.
On this visit, all we called the company for was to fix the keypad, which was non-responsive. Since they schedule for and charge for 1/2 hour minimum, and the repairman (who was different than the one who came in 2011, but was equally prompt, polite and good-natured) was done with the keypad in 5 minutes, he said, "Well, let's see what else I can help you with for the 1/2 hour", and proceeded to use that time to also tighten up the chain, adjust the forces and limits, oil everything, repair the overhead light, and make the door function as if it were brand new. We didn't think the door (which has been hard-used over many years) could ever work that well again.
I couldn't recommend a garage door company more highly.
