Jaime came to give us a quote for a patio for our yard. We live in a townhome community so there's not much we can do. Jaime provided great suggestions for design and privacy while staying within the HOA's guidelines. Jaime provided good pricing, used high quality materials and performed meticulous work. His team of guys always showed up on time and worked until they couldn't anymore. Jaime always maintained an open line of communication during the construction of the patio and always answered our questions in a timely manner. I strongly recommend him for all your home needs. I have worked with several contractors and Jaime is the most reliable.

I have worked with many contractors and have a degree in architecture so I have a very high expectation of the contractor, communication and quality of work. Garcia Construction over performed in every category. I met with Jaime Garcia the owner at my house to review the project. He was extremely professional, spent plenty of time, answered all my questions and never made me feel rushed. When the job started he communicated well and was very flexible as changes were made, some by choice and others were not. The quality of the work is outstanding and above expectation. His crew were not just workers, but true craftsman. His initial price was very good and when we added the changes and extras, I thought the increase was less than I expected. They were punctual and worked neat. They cleaned up every day and never made a mess. I have already recommended them to others and plan on using them again for my Master Bathroom Renovation.

Mr. Garcia gave me an estimate and I did not see him for a while. Reached out to him and he indicated he had been out of town. Still interested, He sent me a catalogue of woods to chose from. Have not heard from him since.

If they had done the work as I requested it, I would have been pleased with this job. However, they completely failed at following my instructions. I had requested an estimate for paving stones in two small areas adjacent to a concrete patio. I specified the areas in my original request as being 5x3 feet and 6 ½ or 7 x 3 feet. When Mr. Garcia came to look at the property, he indicated that I would need to have a portion of the patio repaired in order that the new work would be at the same level as the old patio. Based on this, he suggested that doing the whole job in concrete, rather that paving stones. He gave me as estimate of $900, which I assumed covered the repair work and my original request. The estimate stated “Complete in accordance with specifications”, but there were no specifications given with the estimate, leading me to assume that he meant my original specifications. In addition, I had pointed out a hostas plant growing between the two area, and indicated that I wanted to keep that where it was. I paid 50% of the estimate, and did not hear from Mr. Garcia, so phone him after about 10 days. He called back and told me that they would do the work in the coming week. With no advance notice, his crew showed up at my house one afternoon, while I was working at a table set up on the patio. They assisted me in moving my table out of the way so that they could do their work. After a few hours, they seemed to be finished, but in addition to the patio repair had paved only one of the two areas, and had gone beyond the 5 foot area that I'd specified. I asked about the second area and was told it was not part of the job. I asked them to call Mr. Garcia and he phoned me a few minutes later. He told me that the estimate he gave me didn't include the second area, and offered to do that part of the job for an additional $300. I told him that was too much and he agreed on $200. His workers came back the next morning and paved that area, but again paved a longer area than I had wanted, including filling in the space where the hostas plant was to go. The plant, looking as though someone had sat on it, was left next to the newly paved area.

It went EXTREMELY WELL. THE WORKERS WERE EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THEIR JOB. I HAD SEVERAL PEOPLE LOOK AT THE JOB AND RECEIVED SEVERAL QUOTES. GARCIAS WAS IN THE MIDDLE BUT WHAT HE DELIVERED SHOULD COST MUCH MORE. IM VERY HAPPY WITH WHAT WAS DONE. I WILL DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN. THANKS JAIME

Well , overall. It was fair for the price paid. I just thought it was going to be a more complete encapsulation based on the picture shown on the Angie’s List advertising. Customer Service from Marty’s in Angie’s List and from Mr. Garcia was really good. I can see Mr. Garcia because at times he would take a while to get back to me. I wished he could come over once before the project was completed, just to go over the details. Again, I wish more work was done,but , for the price paid it’s a fair deal.

Jaime Garcia and his workers were respectful, hardworking, punctual and professional. Jaime explained in detail, exactly what would occur from the beginning to its final execution, in replacing the front sidewalk of my home. I am extremely pleased with the work that he and his workers did. I have already begun to discuss another job, to happen in the near future. I most definitely and highly recommend him.

It went extremely well!. Jamie called me to schedule a review of the job. His crew came the next day and took care of everything. The job was done well and within the time. I only wish I had asked him to look at one other item.

Jamie Garcia and his workers were polite, punctual, and did excellent work. We are very happy with them: during the work, and after the work was complete. Jamie Garcia is extremely pleasant to deal with, is knowledgeable about all aspects of stone and masonry, as well as being able to refer and delegate other types of home improvement work. None of his services were over budget or have shown any flaws after two years.

Jamie and his crew did a fantastic job. He coordinated with plumber etc. Job was completed on time and within budget. His ability to offer creative suggestions was an added bonus.

It was a pleasure having Garcia's construction working in our house. Jaime and his crew did a great job. They came on time and did what they said. Very clean job and the best part, no more water in my basement after they install the sump pump and run the pipe to the street. I really recommend Jaime for your project.
