"Wow that was a fast review....I appreciate it very much and thank you for the continued support of my company. I am proud of my crew and want to thank you also for mentioning them. As you know, I am here if you need anything else."
"Thank you so much [Member Name Removed] It was a pleasure working with you. Best of luck to you and your young family!"
"It was a pleasure working with you on this project. Those are great windows that you decided on and will keep you warm for many winters to come I'm sure."
"Thank you for the kind review sir. It was a pleasure to work with you and I'm so glad you reached out to us to handle this project. I enjoy these type of window jobs that require some planning and a bit of engineering."
"Wow! Excellence is what we strive for everyday so thank you so much for recognizing that....we work hard at it. Yours was an interesting project with the painted Vintage Linen exterior and mix of pocket replacement windows and full frame windows. Thanks again!"
The entire experience was extremely positive... starting with the owner Jeff's on-site visit to discuss my replacement window needs, and ultimately concluding when he returned after the installation's completion to finish the final trim painting. I met initially with several highly rated Angie's List window installers, and ultimately selected Taylor Rae. My selection process was focused on identifying a quality window manufacturer's product, and the BEST installation team available. Having a quality window installed by a potentially sub-par installer can greatly jeopardize the significant investment you'll make. Speaking with Jeff during his on-site estimate visit helped convince me to the installation knowledge and expertise his company provides (as well as the multiple Angie's List positive reviews). Additionally we discussed manufacturer options. Taylor Rae is open to sourcing from several quality providers, which was a positive, as they are not focused on pushing only one manufactures product... instead they can work with you to find the best quality option for the objectives you're seeking. The price I was quoted was not the not the most expensive, nor the lowest. But I was very comfortable going ultimately with Taylor Rae because I determined they provided the best quality product, and it's installation, for a fair price.
I was not disappointed with my selection. As a customer, the installation phase was painless. The job was estimated to require three days, as I had two larger windows (128"x75", 75"x72") involving a complicated installation process. Jeff was on-site throughout the process, and helped oversee the job was done correctly. I never felt they were rushing the job in any way. At the end of each day, Jeff walked me through all that had been accomplished, and an outline of what was planned for the next day. They also ensured they thoroughly cleaned the work areas at the end of each day. The final product met all my expectations, as the style and quality of the windows installed really transformed each room. Kudos to Jeff with his assistance during the selection process (sharing the pros and cons of casement vs double-hung, prairie view trim helps allow a greater amount of visible space, etc).
One item that really stood out about Taylor Rae, and the owner Jeff, was the complete ownership they had for all aspects of the job. Unfortunately we encountered a pretty significant delay in receiving the ordered windows from the manufacturer. This was due to one-time incident involving the manufacturer's moving from their former location to a new expanded manufacturing facility (something completely out of Taylor Rae's control). Jeff went to bat on my behalf and personally contacted the Sr. Mgmt of the window company. This resulted in my order being prioritized once the manufacturers transition completed, and having my order expedited. Additionally the manufacturer agreed to upgrade my glass package, as the original package was proving a challenge to source on time. When things start to potentially go off the rails, that's often when you really see the true measure of the companies you're working with. What could have been a horror story, turned out to be a success story instead. Both the manufacture and Taylor Rae stepped up to take full ownership of addressing the product delay (without my having to push them to do so). I truly appreciated the manufacturers offer to upgrade the glass package as a way to help offset the inconvenience I experienced. Now six months later, and after going through many hot summer days and cold winter nights, I can confirm there have been no issues discovered with either the quality or installation of the windows received.
Lastly, let me extend this positive review to include all the staff of Taylor Rae. Jeff was easy to work with, and his installers were equally as nice and as skilled. Jamie runs the company's office functions, and she was also a joy to work with throughout the process. Such a nice person. Always kept me posted on where we were in the process, and very quick to respond whenever I had a question.
I will definitely be in contact with Taylor Rae for any future window needs... I know they also do siding and roofing, and given my positive experience with this window replacement project, I would definitely have their firm on my short list of providers to speak with for either of those jobs as well.
"Thank you [Member Name Removed]. I am humbled by your kind review and for taking the time to explain the process in so much detail. Your correct....it's really a whole team you have on your side here and I am very fortunate to have Jamie in the office and great workers, who care like I do, in the field. Hope all is well and best wishes until we see you again!"
I highly recommend Taylor Rae Construction, and will definitely use them again in the future.
"Thank you [Member Name Removed] for the nice review. Putting your blinds up that nite was no problem and I'm glad I could figure out how to get it done! As a father of 4, I didn't like the idea of the kids having no blinds in their windows at night. Maybe it's just me being over protective! Thank you again and we look forward to working with you again in the near future."
"Many thanks for the kind review and may I say it was a pleasure working with both of you during these projects. Look forward to seeing you again if you ever need us in the future."
"It was a pleasure working with you and thank you for the review. Your next project, the back sliding door, should be installed soon and I look forward to working with you again."
"Thank you sir for the excellent review. Your windows and door do look beautiful if I say so myself! So don't forget you have a full lifetime warranty on both the labor and products! Hope to work with you on the upstairs windows soon."
They did an excellent job!
"Thank you for the kind review. It was a pleasure working with you on this roof. The 20 year warranty backed by the manufacturer should give you piece of mind for many years to come!"
"Thank you for taking the time to do a review. Hope you are still happy with the door."
"Thank you so much for taking the time to do a second review. We appreciate the kind words and the repeat business."
1. Jeff was very knowledgeable regarding the whole construction process. He has not the typical salesman that was trained to read a script, but rather someone who knows the process from performing the actual work.
2. There were no high pressure sales tactics.
3. Taylor Rae is certified by 'Installation Masters' which ensures that the best construction practices were used ( and yes, I have checked the company as listed on the Installation Masters website'
After the windows arrived, Taylor Rae promptly started on the job. Their workers worked continuously and even skipped lunch breaks. The work areas were properly cleaned up after each session. Unlike many contractors, I have never had an issue contacting Taylor Rae.
As seen by my rating, I highly rate this contractor and I will keep them as future reference for any additional construction work.
"Thank you so much for the detailed review. I take every effort I can to personally guide our clients through the process of selecting windows and educating them on the installation process. It was a pleasure working with you and I know your new windows will serve you well for the life of your home. Thanks again!"
The job took four days (which was a reasonable time frame for the scope of work) and the owner came by a couple of times to make sure things were going well and that we were happy with the progress. He came back at the end of the job to answer questions and make sure we were completely satisfied.
The price was a bit higher than some of the competitors, but it was definitely worth the quality and security of having a job well done. It was a very positive experience.
"Hi guys! Thank you for the kind review. It was a pleasure meeting both of you and I look forward to working together soon."
"Thank you for the review we appreciate it very much!"
Completed work is execellent, we are completely satisfied! Jeff checked in after the work was done to make sure all was to our liking, which it was.
"Thank you so much for the glowing review we really appreciate it. It was great working with you and look forward to our next project with you. Thank you again for your business!"
Chris T. did the installation of the windows. He is a true craftsman. The quality of his work is exceptional. Working alone it took him three days to install the nine windows. At the end of each day he cleaned the work areas and was very neat throughout all facets of the installation. All of the trim work, outside and inside, is excellent. All of the corners are mitered perfectly, all of the aluminum cladding fits and seals perfectly, and all of the windows operate very smoothly. I would definitely want him to do any future projects that we might have.
"First and foremost thank you for the very kind words. It was a pleasure working with you from beginning to end. We really appreciate that you see the value in working with smaller companies like mine. We put our heart and soul into everything we do want to thank you for recognizing that."
