BEWARE: HOSTAGE LOAD SCAM & MOVER SLASHED MY TIRES The two men pictured here threatened to damage my car and then slashed my tires. The police are currently investigating, and there will be charges. Police believe quote they 99% did it. This started from a dispute involving Tariq promising a price, then demanding more money once they load the stuff on the truck. This is called a HOSTAGE LOAD SCAM and is a well-known scam. He wouldn?t take the stuff out unless I paid more than promised. The police were able to retrieve my items. They then went back to the parking lot where they saw me park and slashed my tires. See pictures of the two perfectly slashed tires with the box-cutters they had. They were 4 hours late and so I wanted to cancel. They begged me for my business and gave me a discount then my stuff was on the truck they demanded more money.
