2013 Fehr put a new roof on my house, 30 year roof. 5 times I called over 10 years due to leaking on my deck that appeared to be from the gutters that were replaced. I was told various reasons none were true. Recently with all the rain I called a different company and my roof was leaking and wood rotting. Called Mike at Feher who was rude and told me I don’t make sense and someone is trying to sell me a new roof. He could not look at my roof for 10 days. THE BEST SIDING COMPANY IN THE GARDEN STATE WITH AMAZING RESULTS
We are in the process of building a house and our project manager initially hired a horrible company, which had inferior work and never showed up to work (JZ Construction out of Wayne, NJ - Run away from this company as fast as you can).
Fortunately, our builders Tydale from Ho-Ho-Kus, were able to bring in Feher Home Solutions came to the rescue to help save the day. The lead on the project was Milton, and the owner Mike was very accommodating. We used a top architect in Bergen County, Michael Callori (Callori Architects), who drew an exceptional amount of details.
Feher took the time out to consult with the architect on a number of occasions, to help ensure that the final product would match his vision. They used a specialized PCV screw system, versus the cheaper nail guns. The results have been spectacular, my wife is now a local celebrity. All of the sudden everyone wants to know the builder, the architect, who did the siding and trim, etc.
RELIABILITY AND QUALITY OF THE WORK WERE MUCH BETTER THAN EXPECTED.
We couldn't be happier with the results which Feher Home Solutions provided. Their attention to detail, and technical understanding is second to none. If you are lucky enough to hire them, know you are getting the best in the industry period. If anyone wants to see the work, just send me a private email and I can send you some photos.

They gave me the cost upfront along with a payment schedule as the work progressed. The payment schedule was very fair and easy to follow. They came as agreed early in the morning and worked steadily throught the day. It took them two days to do the roof, but they cleaned the entire discarded material after each day. They did the flashing next to the roof and it looked gorgeous. The house looks 100% better than it did before.
The windows were delayed for a day, but they started the siding on the side that didn't have a window and when the windows arrived, they were able to connect the siding right night to the windows. They worked quickly and thouroughly sealed outside and inside.
There was someone here throughout the entire process and the workers explained what they were doing and asked questions if there were any unusual situations that needed to be resolved clearly and friendly.
They said the gutters will put installed later and within a few days the gutters were put in without even having to give them a call to remind them.
I would definatley use them again. They were honest, prompt, very knowledgeable, and return or answered my calls right away.

My old gutters were inadequate in heavy rainstorms. They would overflow very badly. The salesman spent a lot of time discussing what was needed, and explained what they would do. There was no detailed written proposal however, just a price for 6" gutters on the back of his business card. When the mechanic came to install the gutters, he had some questions. I was surprised that he did not have all the details from the salesman. I told him to call the salesman since I did not have a record of what was discussed when he did the estimate. The end result was a very good installation and I have had no problems with gutters overflowing. All's well that ends well. I would recommend this company. Their workmanship and price were very good. I would only suggest that all the items discussed during the estimate be written down so there is no question about what is to be done.

Another roofer installed a new roof on my house prior to Feher. THEIR NEW ROOF LEAKED AND THEY GAVE ME THE "RUN AROUND." I had to bring them to court to get some money back. Feher installed my roof and it never leaked again; even with all these HUGE rainstorms we've had over the years! Their product and installation was excellent!

I had my house painted, and a soffit was not connected right. They came out and fixed it perfectly, I don’t even know if it was their fault, but they gave me the benefit of the doubt.

Speaking as an Association board member who managed the job- Feher was timely, efficient, reliable, and well priced. The job was finished on time and on budget. The overall wokmanship was fantastic and the clean-up was meticulous. The execution of all phases (roofing, siding, windows, and gutters) was flawless. The site managers and supervisors were available to us at all times to help with any questions or concerns. I would refer them to any homeowner or Association.

They came out to estimate the job, gave us a price, and after comparing it to other contractors and checking references, we signed with them to do the work. They ended up miscalculating the amount of material. They had the wrong trim delivered and installed dented and dirty siding. The subcontractors they used were going through our things, such as uncovering my motorcycle, and ended up breaking the tail light on it. Feher did pay for the damage, but between that and the warped/buckled siding due to over-driving the nails, I would not recommend using them. Their workers were completely unfamiliar with the product we chose and we are still waiting for them to get the paperwork processed to have them come out and fix the buckled siding on the house. They did honor the original price, but the first day, the subcontractors did give us a problem that they wanted more money as it was going to take them longer. The sales rep actually tried to get us to pay the difference.

IT IS TRUE THAT MORE SIDING WAS NEEDED TO DO THE INSTALLATION DUE TO A HIGHER WASTE FACTOR, HOWEVER, THIS WAS NEVER CHARGED FOR BECAUSE IT WAS AN ADDITION ERROR ON OUR PART AND WE ALWAYS HONOR THE CONTRACT PRICE. THE REASON THAT FEHER ASKED FOR ADDITIONAL MONEY ON THE JOB WAS FOR ADDITIONAL WORK THAT WAS NOT ON THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT THAT FOR SOME REASON THE HOMEOWNER THOUGHT WAS INCLUDED. THE ADDITIONAL WORK THAT WAS DONE CAME AT AN ADDITIONAL EXPENSE TO FEHER AND ALSO CAUSED THE JOB TO TAKE LONGER (THE HOMEOWNER DEMANDED THAT IT SHOULD BE INCLUDED EVEN THOUGH IT WAS NOT, AND IN AN EFFORT TO NOT SLOW DOWN THE INSTALLATION, FEHER ABSORBED THIS COST AS WELL). IT IS ALSO TRUE THAT A MOTORCYCLE TAILLIGHT WAS DAMAGED AND IT WAS PROMPTLY PAID FOR. HOWEVER, THE HOMEOWNER FEELS THAT THE INSTALLERS WERE GOING THROUGH THEIR THINGS AND NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH (THE MOTORCYCLE WAS PARKED NEAR A CONSTRUCTION SITE). IN THE END WITH THE ADDITIONAL WORK, AND THE ADDITIONAL MATERIALS THAT WERE NEEDED TO COMPLETE THE JOB, THE INSTALLATION WAS ACTUALLY DONE BELOW OUR COST. FEHER HOME SOLUTIONS DID HONOR THE ORIGINAL PROPOSAL AND ABSORBED ALL ADDITIONAL COSTS JUST TO KEEP A HAPPY CUSTOMER. FOR THESE REASONS AND OTHERS, I FIND IT CURIOUS THAT THIS REPORT WOULD BE POSTED ONE AND HALF YEARS AFTER THE INSTALLATION WAS COMPLETE AND PAID FOR. ALSO, SOME TIME LATER THIS SAME HOMEOWNER CALLED US TO TO DO ADDITIONAL WORK ON A DIFFERENT AREA OF THEIR HOME WHICH WE RESPECTFULLY DECLINED TO DO AS IT HAD BECOME OBVIOUS TO US THAT PEOPLE EXIST THAT CAN NOT BE SATISFIED. WE WILL NEVER SAY THAT AFTER 45 YEARS IN THIS INDUSTRY THAT WE HAVEN'T HAD A PROBLEM ON A JOB SITE, HOWEVER WE BELIEVE THAT IT IS THE WAY YOU HANDLE IT THAT SEPARATES YOU FROM THE OTHERS. We put a large addition on our 1920's era house. We were referred to Feher HomeSolutiuons by a friend and we knew it would be a big job since there were three existing layers of siding already on the house. Vinnie came out to give us an estimate and show us our options. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We chose the Hardee Plank and it was a very large job to remove all three layers of siding. The workers were so quick and neat we were really pleased. They were very professional and knowledgeable when there was a small problem (because of previous owners "fix" and the age of the house) we were told as well as the project manager immediately and a solution was quickly found. As for the roofing we are equally pleased! Our new addition has a complicated roof line and you cannot tell where the new roof begins and the old one ends. All in all a good experience. My house looks fabulous and everyone was neat, knowledgeable and very punctual. I would recommend this company to everyone.

It went pretty well. He looked at the house and I told him what I wanted. He measured the house. He emailed me some houses that were done in the neighborhood. The samples of some looked good but it made me decide what I wanted for siding. I emailed them with questions which they got right back with me.

Great overall experience. Our representative, Vincent, was very good. He visited us several times with samples and various breakdowns of the estimate. When the job started, he was onsite to kick off the work nearly every morning, so everyday, we could tell him about any concerns we had and he would give instruction to his workers. He used a different contractor for the gutters and they also did a great job. Any time we had a concern, he addressed it quickly, include re-doing parts of the roof that we thought did not look right.

Feher Home Solutions were on time and very professional. They took away all of the mess and were very neat and professional. They stuck with the job until it was done and Im very happy with the results. I cant remember the exact price and would hate to give the wrong amount, but it was very reasonable.

THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND PROMPT. THEY DID A GOOD JOB, BUT IT LEAKED WHEN THEY WERE DONE. THEY DID COME BACK AND FIX IT RIGHT AWAY. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHERS.
