I explained to Lee that I was not able to move the larger pieces of furniture and asked for a price to include that. He priced renting a POD to put in my driveway & labor - separately from the sanding, staining and sealing. I realized that I could actually put my Living room Furniture in the garage and other items inside other rooms. Lee and two workers arrived on the agreed upon time and moved the furniture finishing much sooner than they expected - I had moved the smaller items (when he gave me the bill he reduced that part accordingly). They then sealed the doorways from the rest of the house with plastic and masking tape
That afternoon they sanded and stained the floor. The next day they put four coats of polyurethane and on the last day moved everything back. There was a minimal amount of dust.. Our floors were pretty bad and they filled holes, gaps and took care of nailheads.
