Excellently (is that a word?). My somewhat old air conditioner died. Since Unique had been the original installers 17 years ago, I called them for a repair. Because they couldn't come out for 2 days, they did suggest a couple of things for me to try over the phone to see if the air conditioner might be able to get functioning until they were able to actually come for service. Nine of their suggestions worked for my problem, so they did show up within 48 hours. I was fully expecting them to tell me that I needed a new air conditioner because of its age. However, after checking a couple things, John told me that a switch had tripped and he just reset it. He said it was possible that there might be something wrong with the switch though he want sure and didn't want to sell me a new one until he knew for sure that it was indeed defective. I know that many other repair people would have sold me not only a new switch, but would probably have tried to sell me a new air conditioner as well. Unique also did the only other repair I had on the air conditioner about 5 years ago, and it was a very similar situation. I was expecting the worst, but they told me that it was just a minor part replacement at a very minimal cost. I wish all repair people I've had (and will have) were as knowledgeable, responsive, honest, helpful and nice as Unique.

I can not say enough great things about this company. They literally saved me and my family's life. I had called a different company, because it was after hours, and I needed immediate assistance. After a day, the AC was not working again. So I waited until the next morning and called Unique. John came out and fixed the exact same problem as the original company supposedly did.   As he finished, he said he said he was just going to take a walk around back to check the outside unit. THANK GOD HE DID. He found that the other company had entered the wrong kind of freon to the unit. My house could have exploded.  Thank God for John, for going above and beyond his job.
This company is extremely professional, and extremely affordable. I will never call another company again. I have learned my lesson!!

They were on Angie's List. I have used them a couple of times over the years. I have had really good experiences both times. I had to wait a couple of days for the part. But when they got that, they came right in and did it. There were two charges. I think it was around $260 for the part and $260 for the inspection and the filter. I think the total bill was right around $500. The price doesn’t seem unreasonable. They charged me the price of the part and the price for the filter and then whatever the labor cost was. I guess that was fair. With regard to quality, I went down in the basement and looked afterwards. There was nothing that disappointed me as far as the way everything was left. They came within a reasonable amount of time. There weren't emergencies when I had them done, but they responded. One was within 24 hours and the other one was within a day. They were really good about that. They said that they would be here. I asked them to call when they were on their way. They were exactly on time. They were very professional. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

So far in the project, I have been highly impressed with their professionalism and the quality of their work.

Their quote was for $5000. I didn't like the equipment they used. They were here when they said they are going to be. They were professional and friendly. They were very responsive and answered my questions.

The representatives of the company gave us complete information regarding the type of boiler options available to us. The carefully explained their recommendations.

Arrived on scheduled start date and every subsequent day between 9-9:30am until they completed the job. Cleaned up after themselves daily. Were courteous and conscientious. B for quality only because it can always be done better and more carefully. Unique was the lowest bidder. Normally I would throw out the lowest bid, but the next highest was astronomical, and more importantly, they had a few very good reports.

Rich Knubel, sales manager and very knowledgeable, gave us his estimate. ( Close to $ 1000 lower than the nearest estimate of three other companies.) Explained all that would happen and it happened exactly as he said. Three of his men arrived on the date given and worked quietly and neatly for five days. Nice, clean cut men. I wasn't worried my grandson would hear off-color talk. A week after the work was done we felt our small TV room should have gotten two vents instead of one. I phoned Unique about it. They sent a man next day who installed a second duct and vent at no charge. Wow! These people are great.

The price was very good even though it was not the cheapest. I guess in these cases when you have such a big job to be done you do not mind paying the high prices for the value you are going to get. Even though the price was high, it was pretty competitive
