Excellent - very professional and did an excellent job.

I called to have service on my central air unit. This company needs to add two simple questions to their phone call when booking a service. Next time ask what kind of unit and if it's still under warranty. Be honest and upfront next time so you don't waste customers time and hard earned money. Completely understood having to pay $175 for a diagnostic service and was willing to pay that under the assumption that they could continue with fixing my unit. However, my unit was under warranty. I was told they could not continue to work on my unit if I was going to go through the warranty because they had no account with that particular company. How would I have known that?! Yes, it would make sense for me to have it fixed under the warranty. Why would I choose not to do that. Waited all day in an 87 degree house for them to tell me this! Technician was here for all of half an hour. I didn't have a choice to not go with them so pretty much wasted my $175. Would have been nice to know this beforehand. Called office to comment on why I wasn't explained this ahead of time only to get poor customer service. If you knew you couldn't provide a service on a certain unit under warranty, why wasn't I made aware of that? And then company still has the nerve to charge me knowing this. Any good quality business, if they wanted to keep customers, would rightfully make it right. Waste of time and money!

Bunch of thugs. Guy coming in to fix the HVAC used racist language. Tried calling the manager who was equally rude and unwilling to even apologies for the behavior of his employee. Guess rotten at the top, rotten at the bottom, rotten all the way through. Never again!

Quality Lennox units with 16 Seer Ac and 95 AFUE heat rating. Removed the old and installed new, including new base and thermostat. Set up and tested both units. On time with the install. Extremely neat with excellent cleanup. All installers courteous and respectfull of our home. Owner, Bob Brauch a pleasure to work with. I should note that previously Norman installed furnace lasted 29 years and the AC unit 15 years.

I feel like they got over on her because they did not need to bring out two guys to do this job and the lady Terri that I spoke with on the phone was rude and had no consideration for her customers.

I used Norman mechanical because they were servicing the HVAC systems for the previous owner. After the first service, a pattern emerged where within weeks of the scheduled maintenance, something would fail. While they were attentive to coming out to fix the problem, they would repeated bill first despite the 30 day warranty on service. They did remove the charges when challenged. For one, the freon level in one unit was "normal" at the service visit, but when the system stopped blowing cold air and they came back 3 weeks later it was low. It was subsequently checked 6 weeks later by another provider and is fine. After many such problems after the maintenance service, I called someone else. Several important items that should have been found, including a failing capacitor, were missed. Additionally, the filters that were installed in 2 units were not the proper size for the unit, allowing unfiltered air through the system.

They change the belts and anything that need to be done for the furnace and central air. They are very good. They used to be Norman Sheet and Metal.

They installed my air conditioner so they came back to do maintenance. Their service is great and they are there when requested. I would definitely recommend them.

Very professional service from the design to the installation. Very courteous service and installation people. High quality all around. Very satisfied with the work. They are expensive (but so is evryone in Bergen County!) but the work is excellent

The estimate was a little on the high side. He went up on the roof to look at everything and he was up there for a good half hour. His knowledge is outstanding and he is very down-to-earth. They were good but I just didn't go with them.

The job was expensive, so that hurts overall. The biggest challenge was that our air handler is installed in the attic and difficult to get at for replacement. The company was on time and job done to specifications. However, we faced an ongoing situation of water leaking from the new air handler over the course of 9 days. The company came each time we called, even once at 11:30 PM. The experience is painful in a New Jersey summer, but Norman was quite responsive to our needs. I am not sure I can ding them in the rating for the challenges they faced installing our new unit. So, while the specific experience was a negative I found their responsiveness, professional level, and their good nature more than compensated for what went on. Would we use them again - YES.

I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN. I THOUGHT THEY DID A GOOD JOB. I WOULD ALSO RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHERS. THEY DID NOT LEAVE ANY MESS. THEY WERE ON TIME AND PROFESSIONAL.
