Bob Tuit Paving & Landscaping

In Summer of 2013 I contracted Bob Tuit Paving to do extensive work on back yard. This work included Patio, retaining wall & gas fire pit. All of which has been deteriorating for years. Within of a month of completion the patio began to crack in various places. I contacted Bob Tuit at that time he came by to evaluate the problem but never made repairs. during the last several years the retaining wall has collapsed and pulling away from the patio, causing the patio to collapse, pulling the fire pit which has a gas line hooked to the home and also pulling on the deck that is attached to the house. I have contacted him countless times through the years and he is avoiding me. This is now become a dangerous situation because of the gas line and with the patio collapsing which is making multiple issues now with the deck to the house. I have estimates from other competent contractors ranging from 15 to 20 thousand dollars to fix Bob Tuit's work. I have invested approximately $30,000 and it going to cost me half of that amount to get this problem repaired. Other contractors confirmed the original work was not installed properly. Bob Tuit had ensured that he would stand by his work and said he would come back to fix the problem, which he never did nor did he respond to any messages in the last several years. I feel Bob Tuit should be responsible to the cost of repairs by my choice of contractor. His work is clearly not safe or reliable.

Excellent. Bob reviewed the existing driveway, stating he'd be embarrassed to have done a job like that. He ended up tearing out the entire drive, putting new gravel down, and after the recommended waiting period (5 days) putting new asphalt down. It was packed nice and tight, no more crumbling, with angled edges. Note: Attention was payed to drainage/sloping as well. My contractor neighbor (who used to do this for a living) gave me compliments on the new job Bob did!

After the winter of 2015 the walkway looked like a roller coaster and steps became hazardous because of the gaps and lifting of the pavers. I called and emailed and was told Bob knew what the problem was and would come correct it. The whole summer went by with periodic emails from his wife saying he got busy but would definitely come and fix his work. Needless to say he kept me hanging on all summer and here we are in the spring of 2016 and he never showed up. I had the insurance company and two other contractors come over and was told the walkway with the pavers was not installed correctly.

Went very well -- they were there when they said they would be and finished the job within 3-4 days -- which is what he said.  They also were very very neat.  A neighbor of mine who hires this kind of work where she works came over specifically to compliment them on how good a job they did cleaning up as well.   I was impressed they stuck to the estimate, they came when they said they would and finished when they said they would.  

Our driveway was terribly cracked and damaged. The company showed up promptly to do the work. They tore up my old driveway, removed all the debris (I am really impressed with how clean they left the area) and did an excellent job. The created a nice neat edge where the grass meets the driveway too. I am so happy with the job they did. They got the job done in one day while I was away at work. I really look at the details when I hand over a lot of money and can't find one thing to complain about. I definitely recommend this company and would use them again if the need arises.

Tuit Paving did a stone walkway, stone stairs and asphalt driveway for us. Bob and his crew were friendly and courteous while doing the job however, one stone stair tread starting sinking right away. He came back and fixed it. Weeks later still more sinking of the area just in front of the stairs. Bob said to wait till warmer weather and he would come fix the problem. Now water collects in front of the stairs and FREEZES. The walkway has popped up in places and sunk in others. Weeds are growing through cracks after only one year. The driveway has also developed cracks. He came to see the problem and agreed to fix it at a later date. After several phone calls and emails his wife called and said he would come to fix it. It has now been 2 months with no progress. I have tried many times to contact them with no response. The company claims to stand by their work 100% but will not even return my calls or emails. This is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL  and I would NOT recommend you use them for your paving job.

The attached picture is prior to the asphalt being put down. You can see the meticulous work done to the pillars and the Belgian Block driveway border. If you need a driveway installed, resurfaced, masonry work or drainage work done look no further. Bob gets my highest recommendation

Bob was on time and completed all the work he said he would. He is very personable and professional. We spoke first about what I wanted done and then Bob called with a reasonable price. Him and his workers are also very clean and neat - if I didn't see the work done I would never have known he was there.

He's good. He's very professional and quick. He got in and did what he had to do and got out. He allocated the proper resources. It was a driveway job but he was in and out in a matter of a couple of days. His pricing was very reasonable. Everything was on the up and up with those guys. It was a very pleasurable experience. I would call Bob again if I was going to do more granite curbing.

Bob Tuit Paving and Landscaping is great. He is wonderful to work with. His prices are very reasonable. He is very easy going. I continue using his services. I liked a lot of his ideas. He does a wonderful job. He owns the business but works along side his crew. I will continue to use him. I recommend him to everyone.
