Description of Work: Russell put in a bed of myrtle for me. The plants were healthy, the job done professional, and the clean-up after the job thorough! I would use this landscaping services again for sure.

Description of Work: A yard clean up. Come in, remove a dead arb, spray down crab grass, and remove lots of weed overgrowth.

Description of Work: Owner returned my call and was told that he would drop by the next day with a quote. Quote never received.

Description of Work: Russ does my spring and winter yard clean ups. We normally cut our own lawn, but sometimes I will ask him cut my lawn when he is on the street. He never complains or says no.

Description of Work: We had Russ lay sod for the front and backyard of our home in the fall of 2011. We were please with his work in this regard. We had asked Russ to provide us with the service of fertilizing our lawn and making sure it was done on the proper schedule. We also have a sprinkler system that we had installed to make sure the grass was throughly watered during the summer. My brother-in-law happened to point out that it looked as though we were developing mold on the front lawn....small, brown patches in various areas. We called Russ and asked him to come over and check it out. Russ is a very nice guy. Unfortunately, when we caledl him and asked him to check out the problem with the lawn, he gave us a day when he would come but he never showed up. He would usually come apprx. 5 or more days later. This happened a couple of times. One time we had called him and just on a fluke we happened to pass him while he was doing work on a neighbor's lawn down the street. I think he was surprised to see us. He told us at that time he was going to come and stop by our house when he was finished with this property. Russ looked at the lawn and said he would put fertilizer down. My husband asked him if he could place us on a schedule of doing the necessary fertilizing for our lawn so we could keep it in tip-top shape. Russ never came and did the fertiliizing and we eventually developed a very bad mold/fungus problem, sad to say. When he came back and looked at the lawn he said he wasn't sure what the problem was and he would have another individual look at it and check it out. Some one came and put something down on the lawn a few days later. We had to call him again and ask him what they put on the lawn. No one told us what it was. Thankfully, Russ never billed us for this treatment. Where we once had a beautiful lawn, now there are bare spots throughout. We told Russ apprx. two weeks ago that we may need a few pieces of sod to replace the areas where the lawn has gone bad and he said he would come and check out the lawn. To date, 10/22/12, we still haven't seen Russ. Nice guy but must be very busy.

Description of Work: I called him twice, he returned my called the second time. And told me he does not service this area of Queens. My neighbor sent the person taking care of her yard to me. I did called the other people you gave me, I left messages , one did call back and I told him the yard was taken care of. Thank You

Description of Work: Lawn mowing, yard clean up, general lawn maintenance. Russ did our lawn for about 14-15 years--- always did a fine job......if one of his men accidentally broke a pot or whatever, Russ always apologized and repaid me promptly for the item....Over 15 years Russ and his crew did an excellent job and if I hadn't moved, he still would be my lawn service person. I highly recommend Russ.
