It went very well.  I can't stop looking at my tub. He did such a quality job!
The tub was such a mess before, and now It looks great!
Neil  was very pleasant, professional and meticulous.  He fixed some loose tiles and cleaned the tub's drain, without charging extra.  He cleaned up very well also.
I recommend his service very highly!

contacted them by email and they responded promptly...only one of 4 companies that did! received an estimate via phone after describing what i needed done; reglazing of a 1920 bathtub. the owner Nelson arrived as was planned. interesting guy to talk to and i enjoyed speaking with him while he worked. if you plan on having this done make sure you mask pretty mush your entire room...the floating overspray leaves a residue on walls, floors, everything that must be cleaned off with light scrubbing, just like spray painting indoors will do. he did mask off right around the tub, but that won't do it and you will be the one cleaning. got quite a bit of overspray on my woodwork outside the bathroom door = lots of work to clean from varnished wood! that is why i scored the b versus an a. tub came out nice with a few spots that needed touch up work. Nelson came back out, at agreed day/time, and did them with a quick "schmear" of some of the acrylic finish. if you look close there are fingerprints visible, but with the gloss white finish you do need to look close. i would have preferred to do the touch up myself had a small amount of finish been given to me...i will admit to being very picky with any work i have done=which is very little! my wife sees no marks anywhere. Overall, pleased and tub looks like new. hope it lasts, time will tell. would recommend. price was about what others advertised they would charge BUT none of them ever got back to me;  i guess times are good when you can turn down work!

R&R quoted the job, told me when they would be available to perform, showed up on the exact date they promised and delivered the work on the the date promised.
This firm was honest and professional.  We would not hesitate to recommend them to others and will use them again should the need arise.

I had previously used this company to refinish a claw foot tub in my third floor bathroom, and while they were there doing that I showed Nelson the second floor bath, told him what I wanted and asked for a quote which he gave me.  The third floor went very well so I hired him to do the second floor. He estimated it would take him a week.  He got a little behind schedule, partly because he was running around with me trying to help me pick out new tile. To his credit he did not leave me hanging while he went and started another job as so many contractors do, but stayed until he was finished even though I know he had to juggle his schedule. The only thing he didn't do was install the new vanity, sink and medicine cabinet.  Not his fault, the place I ordered it from messed up and it wasn't ready when he was there.  He actually came back a few days later to do it, I still didn't have it.  In general the job went well.  The tile work is a little uneven and one of the shelves is a little sloppy, (not very noticeable you have to look closely) so I can't give them an A for quality,  but overall I'm satisfied and I feel I got a lot of value for the price. I'm planning to use them again to do refinishing in the master bathroom

Nelson was prompt, professional and did an excellent job. He was on time and in & out in one day and the tub looks new. He was careful and didn't do any damage to the rest of the bathroom which had just been remodeled. He's also friendly and fun to have around. This is a real family business, he has 2 sons helping him and his wife handles the office. They are all a pleasure to work with. Later I had a plumber come in and try and fail to install a faucet and tub filler, in the process he damaged some of the refinishing.  Not only did Nelson come back and repair the refinishing, he installed the faucet and tub filler properly.  I very happy and used them again for a much bigger job, see next review.

We contacted R&R because we wanted to update the 1950's bathroom in the home we recently purchased.  Their price they quoted over the phone was a bit higher than the other companies we contacted, but they spoke confidently about their product and how they used superior materials than others.  They also were up-front about including non-skid surfaces in the price for the tub, which we had to inquire about with other companies.  The work was completed within 1 week of my initial call.  They finished the entire job in 1 morning and did a great job of controlling the fumes in the house.  One company I contacted had suggested we spend the night somewhere else while the fumes dissipated.  R&R brought their own exhaust system and kept things under control.  I've had many compliments on the work they did and would absolutely use them again.

Our tub was the original in our 1952 home and the coating had worn down to bare metal in some places. Rather than replace with a cheap new tub (plus the plumbing and labor costs) we decided to get it reglazed. R&R had great reviews here, and was close by. A price of 349 for the tub alone, and their willingness to be out the next business day just sealed the deal. He was supposed to arrive after 12:00, but didnt show up till around 2:30 due to a troublesome previous job.  This is my only complaint about the excellent service and friendliness of this company. He admitted he should have called. He come in, inspected the tub, and got to work. The work was quick, neat, and professional.  He removed old caulk where necessary and gave a lot of insight on the process and helped with my knowledge of what to do after he finished. The FUMES ARE BAD, no joke, so stay out for the 24 hours (its beter after about 5 hours) and you will be fine, we used our gym showers for the day being a 1 bath home. The next day the results were fantastic, the tub looks brand new. He replaced the tub drain cover at no charge, and left me with a tube of cault to redo where needed. (They do charge extra if you want hem to come back to recault, but that is an easy process). I had difficulties, due to the age of the tub and its mechanics, getting the drain latch back in. He came by within an hour of my call asking for advice and he (and his knowledgeable son, 10?) were able to get the new one from home depot to fit. When I aked about refinishing my sink, he recommended replacing it rather than using their server to refinish it, another nice thing to me tat he didnt just try to make the extra buck.  In fact he offered to leave me some material if I wanted to try to do it myself. All in all this was a great experience, a very reasonable price, and comes with a 1 yr warrenty at no cost, and a 10 year warrenty at 65.00 a visit to fix any issues that arise.  Due to the nature of this process I am more than satisfied with that level of coverage

We are very pleased with the quality and service provided by R&R Refinishing. The crew did an excellent job reglazing our chipped bath tub. In addition, they reglazed over our kitchen backsplash tile as we were not fond of the flower designs. The crew was very professional and meticulous. They took their time to cover the area to reduce the level of dust. They were very efficient and finished in several hours. We highly recommend R&R Refinishing.

The technician arrived on time and completed the project in three hours. Overall the bathtub looks great, like it's brand new again. I would have given the quality an "A" rating, however one thing I'm not satisfied with is that the technician didn't remove the old caulking from where the bathtub meets the tile surround; instead he applied glazing right over it. After all the sanding and scraping down of the old finish, which took quite a while, I don't understand why he didn't remove the old caulking before applying the new finish. If I had known that he wasn't going to remove the old caulking then I would have removed it myself before the appointment. Now the new finish is already chipping and peeling away from the old caulking. Eventually the caulking will need to be removed carefully so as not to risk peeling the new finish from the bathtub.

They arrived on time and completed the work in about 2 hours. The worker was very professional and he left simple, detailed instructions about caring for the refinished bathtub.

He and his assistant did a beautiful job within the time he had estimated. After my plumber damaged the finish, Nelson even came back to touch up the finish at no extra charge, although I did give him and his assistant a tip.

I called this company because it was on Angie's list with one good review. The representative of the company gave me a quote over the phone and a tentative date. She was able and willing to answer all my questions. She was not sure if someone would be able to come on the day we picked and said she'd call me that morning. I wound up calling her (I think she did not want to call until she was sure the serviceman was finished with his first job). He did come that day and as promised the job took about 3 hours. The only drawback was doing the caulking the next day myself. And since I requested removal of the shower doors and patching the tile, the cost went from $450 to $642 - but that quote was given to me in advance of the job.

The owner supervised all of the work. They performed a clean and detailed job. They arrived on time and performed all of the work as contracted. The owner was very approachable and cared about his work. The final product was outstanding and people think we installed a new kitchen, we highly recommend.
