Alex is very professional and takes the time to make sure the job is done right. He is also very knowledgeable about garden design and which plants to use given sun patterns and color preference. I highly recommend using them. You will not be disappointed.

Newstar renovated our master bath, installed new fixtures and new plumbing was installed.In less than two years, we are dealing with leaks, and a wall/flooring is being removed to fix the new plumbing. This is extremely expensive. . Backyard was landscaped. Grass grew in patchy., with weeds. We had to airate and reseed ourselves. The company built us a brand new garage, and all is fine with it Because of issues with the bathroom renovation, poor quality plumbing, I would not recommend or use them again.

It is with great satisfaction that I write this recommendation on behalf of New Star Landscaping. In the Spring Season of 2016 we began an extensive remodeling of our back and front yard. Our landscaping project was the most challenging as we had the misfortune to hire several unreliable landscaping companies that would not complete the work and the results didn't not meet their promises and our expectations. Fortunately in September of 2016 after much research and requests for recommendations we found Alex on Angies List and after reading all of the promising reviews we contacted them. Alex returned our call in a matter of minutes at which point he granted us a generous amount of time to allow us to discuss what we were hoping to accomplish and the amount of time and efforts we invested in order to complete the project. Alex came to our home the very next day to asses the work, suggest technics and provide us with the most competitive and honest cost estimate. His suggestions felt promising but we were still a little hesitant on what to expect as our recent experiences with landscapers had left us somewhat hopeless. Alex allowed us ample time to discuss every detail and we agreed on a date to begin the work for the next week. The day after we met we were amazed to find an email from him describing in detail all that we had agreed to work on, with pictures and total cost. The day of the work he showed up in time and with the most professional and hard working crew we had ever experienced. They worked diligently the entire day while paying attention to details that even us were not aware of and needed to be cared for. In addition Alex provided us with transportation to the nearest top quality nursery as while working on our Project we decided that additional Trees and Plants would be needed for yet an even greater improvement. He was so generous with his time and suggestion while walking through the nursery and helping us pick the most reliable and cost efficient trees. Words cannot express our gratitude for Alex's work ethics and skills. We have several construction projects inside our home in the coming months which we very much look forward to have them completed by Alex and his crew. I initially called Alex and left a message, which he returned almost immediately even though he was on vacation on Costa Rica. He organized the whole job with his brother and was able to provide an estimate and get all the work done within 2-3 days. The workers were fast and thorough and did an excellent job overall cleaning up the whole area and making it look good. They also did extra work like mowing the lawn to provide exceptional service. I tried calling other landscapers in the area but they either never returned my messages or weren't able to come over and give me an estimate in a reasonable amount of time.

We have been very pleased with the work provided to us by Newstar. The owner, Alex Navarro, and the men he works with, are all personable, reliable and professional. Iall projects were completed on time, and the costs have been reasonable. I would recommend this business to anyone needing renovations, new construction and/or landscaping. I plan to hire them again in the future.
