Don took the piano action away for a couple of weeks and replaced felts, (very labor intensive), filed and shaped the hammers, and regulated and adjusted the action. Then when he delivered it back to my home he installed the action and continued to work on getting things in order. After several hours of tedious damper work he decided another trip was necessary, so on Monday of this week he returned to tune and put the finishing touches on his action work. This was done at no extra charge. Don is a perfectionist, very courteous and professional, and it was a pleasure to work with him as well as to play the piano after he was done transforming it. I have only praise for his work.

Don is talented, professional and fun to work with - and has a great ear.  I am a Juilliard-trained musician with perfect pitch and so have struggled to find someone to care for and maintain my piano.  Now that I've found Don, me and my piano are extremely happy; he's quite simply the best piano technician I've worked with since my conservatory days.  I recommend him and his work highly.

Don has been tuning and maintaining my baby grand piano for at least 10
years now. The piano has stayed in great condition and I know I'm in
good hands. Don is both professional and personable. He is
knowledgeable and passionate about taking care of pianos. I usually
learn something new and interesting if I'm able to be around while he's
working. Don is a true piano technician, who really knows what he's
doing and his rate his reasonable. And as an added bonus, he's a
pleasure to work with. I teach piano and recommend him to my students.
Recently I moved homes, and something went awry with the pedals. Don came the very next day to fix it, which was a huge relief.
I highly recommend him!

Very professional, expert, pleasant and accommodating piano tuner. Don knows what he's doing, and was WELL WORTH the expense. I would definitely use him again. He worked fast and well. Understood my concerns and addressed every one of them. A real find!
