He was very accommodating with my schedule and was always on time. Often we would just sit down to discuss the jobs and he would come up with many constructive ways to get it down better, quicker and at less cost. He seldom takes lunch so he is on the job all day, incl. sometimes on weekends.

Bob is great. A local realtor recommended him, and now several people on my block have hired him for various tasks. He's very affordable ($35/hr is his standard rate) and is especially good at figuring out how to solve weird problems in old houses. He can't do electrical or complicated plumbing, but otherwise you can hire him for painting or just about any repair you can think of. And he has a tall ladder for getting up to those hard to reach spots on your roof. I highly recommend him.
