They were very safe and made sure the kids could not get to the traps. They were very quick and called us right back. Their prices are good and they are very responsive. I've used them for mice and squirrels. If they don't solve the problem they come back out at no charge.

mit that they have horrible customer service, a severe lack of professionalism and an overall bad sense of business. Do not make the same mistake I made. This company is the WORST!!!!!!!

I found this company through a google search without reading the Angie's list . I called up their office at (973) 540-9944, which they advertised on their website . One guy from that office answered the phone . He asked me to hold the call as soon as he picked up my call ; when he came back, he told me someone else would give me a call back . 2 minutes later, exactly the same person called back with a different number ( shown as private number) ; he seemed to be very inpatient and totally has no business manner or professionalism. As I started to describe to him that I had a raccoon issue on my property (the raccoon lived in a foreclosured property adjacent to my property, but climbed every evening to my house/deck trying to enter my house and threatened our 3 yr old ), he interrupted me in a very rude manner and interrogated me why would I call a pest control company regarding a raccoon and talk about a foreclosured property . You see my point here is trying to make him understand that I'm telling him the whole story so for him to tell me if they provide raccoon removal service under this situation . I had wanted him to come to my property to possibly trap it and relocate it , but he hanged off my phone in a very rude manner . Initially , I thought maybe I called a wrong company so I went back to its website to double check their number . But the number wasn't wrong , so I called back. Once he picked up my phone, he hang it immediately without saying anything. I wan't sure what was going around , maybe sth. wrong with their phone line??? So I tried 2-3 times to call back. Finally , he answered the call but told me that his number was under monitor by the police and he wanted to use a different number/phone to call me back. What the heck is this company doing ? I wondered if this corson is providing service legally in NJ. If so , why would he be monitored by the police and wanted to use a different number to call back ?????? Plus any businessman would not talk to new customer in such a rude manner. If you don't want to deal with raccoon, then just remove it from your website . If you are no longer in the business, then remove the whole website. Later on , someone from their other office called back and finally I was able to talk to a normal person. The other office also apologized on behalf of (973) 540-9944 . Talk to the 908 office if you need a legal service , never call the (973) 540-9944 office . Like he said , IT IS UNDER POLICE MONITOR!!!!!!! And you just don;t know what's going on around there .

Bat exclusion done improperly. I had another contractor come in who specializes in bat exclusions. He said they did nothing correctly and way overcharged. The reputable contractor i had come in to do the job right stated they are not bat contractors andnever to call them for any wildlife removal period. Will not use them ever again,

Overall pretty good, but pricing this service is difficult. They believed there were mice and flying squirrels because of the droppings. They wanted to put one-way door on two openings in my roof and treat the mice with bait. The total initial price was $900+, but i could apply this to a full clean of the dirty insulation caused by the droppings (that would be about $5K). Long story short, talked them down to 750 cash to treat the mice and put the two one way doors on the roof. Probably overpaid, but after one more night of noise haven't heard anything for 3 weeks. They came back timely to remove the one way doors and leave mesh protection instead. Second team that removed the doors didn't think i needed to replace insulation and clean attic. exterminators usually charge around $150 to bait the house (inlcuding attic and put traps)... more to come back and clean the traps. So i spent about $600 on the one way doors. probalby overpaid, but they came same day and so far so good.

Alan, the owner, answered the phone when I called was helpful and professional with regard to how he would do the inspection for bats. He and an employee came by within a few days. They were prompt and very nice guys. The employee went on the roof and did a thorough inspection. They did not charge for the inspection. The visit was short and to the point. I had other companies here to look at this job who took a lot of time to come up with the same assessment that ALCO did in 15 minutes. They confirmed a bat problem and their written proposal to remove the bats and flying squirrels was short, but adequate. I had a few other companies look at this job as well. Had the job been less involved structurally with my very old house, I would have hired ALCO. I went with a different company only because their method for blocking the intruders with aluminum instead of mesh seemed more permanent. I would call ALCO again in future and I would recommend them for wildlife removal. By the way, I was given ALCO's contact information by the local health officer.

Contacted company on Monday and scheduled a Friday appointment for ALCO to come to the house to spray for ants and do general spring spay for bugs in attics and basement. They called and cancelled 1:00 appointment at 11 that morning. Rescheduled the following thursday. They called 1 hour before appointment to cancel and told family member responsilbe to be home they were "swamped" and would come next Monday. When I called find out just why I was being cancelled a 2nd time and reschedule for a third time I was told the truck broke down. As I began to question just why they rescheduled- 2 stories- I was intrerupted and told to find someone else. Extremly rerude and unprofessional. (first and only negative review ever posted)

Owner is very enthusiastic about animal control. Definitely his calling. Communication could be improved/more timely as appointment was re-scheduled many times due to weather. So far seems to have taken care of the problem. This company prices their services a bit higher as they offer better guarantees than some competitors. Very knowledgeable company. Also helps that 'receptionist' person has worked in the field and is not just relaying message. He can also provide some information which is helpful when dealing with unwanted critters.
