Art Young is polite and professional. He had to come back on three different days to do the sheet rock repair, taping, spackling and painting. The work was done in a timely manner. Art was delightful. He was on time and quite tolerant of our grandsons who tried climbing the other side of his ladder while he was working. The work he did was beautiful, his price was very reasonable and he was a pleasure to deal with. We would highly recommend him for indoor painting. We did not have him do any exterior painting...yet. Currently, we are working with him to return for additional painting that needs to be done.

Only so-so. They originally bid $3400 for painting only. While painting they found almost $2000 of trim that had to be replaced. I trusted to their professionalism on the quality of the replacement trim but it turned out to be simple dimensional lumber that they tacked up. I feel that I grossly overpaid for barely acceptable trim work. Furthermore, the shutters started to peel off the new paint within a couple of months and it was very difficult to get them to come back to repair them. They never fixed them satisfactorily and in spite of many phone calls to them, I had to replace the shutters at my own expense. Also, they trashed the property, leaving food wrappers, debris and cigarette butts strewn everywhere. It was a real mess. Notice that their website has phone numbers only, no physical address, making it difficult to contact them if they choose not to return your calls. Update as of August 2013: The work was performed SEVERAL YEARS AGO and the above review is correspondingly old. I have just learned that the company is under new management and therefore the slate should be wiped clean. The new team seems very earnest.
