We recently had the pleasure of working with MAG Development for the remodel of our primary bedroom suite, which included a bathroom remodel. We couldn't be happier with the results! Ernest was great to work with, and demonstrated an impressive level of professionalism and expertise. He was great at discussing options while giving us flexibility to work within our style and budget. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the project. I couldn’t say more about the communication. We had to be out of town during much of the job because my mother was sick. We put a lot of trust in Mag during this time. Ernest was great about checking in remotely when important decisions needed to be made, and knew exactly when our input was needed. He was great about answering our questions and super approachable. We always knew their schedule and their subcontractors, for when they would be at the house. They were also great about housekeeping, making sure they kept other parts of our house in good condition, minding the walls and floors as they brought materials in and out. The quality of workmanship exceeded our expectations. The team showed meticulous craftsmanship - the work involved leveling floors, moving doorways, installing new baseboard, rerouting hvac, and detailed tile wor, in our old Collingswood house. The space looks fresh and modern and we couldn’t be happier with it. Alex executed a majority of the work and we could tell he takes great pride in his work. Ernest exceeded our expectations, completing our renovation on time and within budget. He answered all of our questions, day or night, with a prompt and helpful response. It was a huge relief to know that I could rely on Ernest to consider my best interests as we navigated through the challenges of my first renovation project. MAG development delivered fantastic results on our project which included a new roof, new siding, replacement of front porch, full kitchen renovation including structural beams, cabinets, countertop, backsplash, flooring, sheetrock, painting, new half bath, removal of an interior chimney, and a complete refinish of the first floor. He told me very early in the project that if there were any issues, he would work with me until I was happy with the result. He delivered on that commitment and went above and beyond to be fair and professional. I am confident that he save me time, money, and stress with his experience and network of skilled craftsmen. This project involved renovation of our master bedroom, hallway and 2nd floor stairs & railing. The bedroom & hall had an old style homosote panel ceiling that was detaching in places. The bedroom had been extensively renovated 30 years ago (total gut to outside walls; insulated; rewired; painted; new windows) and needed repainting. Capeting in the bedroom & hall was to be removed and the floors (tongue & grove pine) were to refinished, as were the oak stairs. I suggested simply installing drywall over the old ceiling panels, but Earnest explained why that was not the best idea. He suggested tearing off all the old homosote ceiling panels and installing new drywall with new ceiling cornice moldings. Once the old ceiling panels were removed, they leveled the ceiling perfectly with new wood batting and the drywall installation was perfect. The hall way had very old wall paper that we wanted removed and Earnest suggested they cover it with 1/4" drywall instead, as the plaster under the wallpaper was not in good condition. Also new ceiling cornice molding was installed. They subbed the floor refinishing and that company did an amazing job. They cleaned so well afterward, we literally could find no dust from the floor sanding. Summary: Earnest, Eugene, Alex and Vlod did an absolutely beautiful job. The repainting involved a LOT of woodwork (the house is almost 100 years old, and all doorways, windows, baseboards have old style wood work) and it was all done perfectly. I highly recommend Mag Development and would hire them again without hesitation. Thanks, guys!

MAG Development Corp and its owner Ernest recently completed work in my home. Their price was fair and they completed the work faster than schedule. Being on time was important to us as the job involved almost every job n the house. The completed job was to our liking and his Ernests high standards. The house was swept and wiped clean at the end of each day. The MAG crew were very careful. Ernest several made several suggestions which we used. He was very responsive returning calls immediately. My husband and I were so impressed with Ernest and his crew. I am 7 months pregnant, and the whole idea of having work done at the house was overwhelming. Ernest and his team made us feel so relaxed about the entire process. We interviewed/got estimates from multiple people before hiring Ernest. He was the only one who gave accurate cost analysis up front. Many contractors gave us "lower" estimates but had hidden fees somewhere in small print. Ernest had always been clear and concise when it came to financial projections. This was so important for us during this time as we prepare for the new addition to our household! He was the only contractor that we interviewed that made suggestions on ways that we could save money. Instead of hitting us with the highest price for every service that we needed, he often told us what it would cost ideally as well as what we could do if we couldn't afford that option. In addition to his honesty and transparency, he is a perfectionist. The quality of his work spoke for itself. We don't even recognize the house that we bought and fixed. Flooring looks amazing! You would never know that we had popcorn ceilings in every room of the house. Paint package was exactly how we envisioned it. Some people may be tempted to go to "cheaper" offers. Do not be fooled by those people trying to undercut quality contract work. Ernest is the best value for your money. You will get competitive pricing and a quality job... plus he provided the best customer service. He responded to every one of my texts and always addressed our concerns. So many contractors that we interviewed took days to get back to us or simply didn't call when they said that they would. Ernest never made us feel like we were being over the top for asking questions about the construction. He validated our concerns and ensured that we felt comfortable with every step. We have already recommended him and his crew to others. He did everything the right way - no cutting corners when it came to safety and design. We had heard from other contractors that on the surface appeared to be a better deal....but upon further inspection, those contractors were not doing things safely and were looking for quick cash. He gave us a peace of mind. I know I will be able to sell my house whenever I want and that every repair will be recognized and validated by a home inspection. Lastly, my dad is a retired carpenter in his 70s and was helping me around the house while Ernest and his men were present. He was so friendly and welcoming when it came to my dad. He actually coordinated with him a couple of times and made some great suggestions that benefited all of us. He is clearly invested in his clients and their overall satisfaction. Everything was fantastic! Ernest was very responsive and easy to work with. They showed up every day at the time they said they would, and cleaned up when they were done for the day. Our bathroom is gorgeous and everything works perfectly. Absolutely zero complaints, and I have already recommended them to several people that I know. Ernest and his team were incredible. We wanted to convert our attic into a bedroom but were unsure if this was doible. I hired MAG Development to renovate/remodel my bathroom – and they did an absolutely fabulous job. I am beyond happy with the result. This company is run by Earnest Magrys – a tireless go-getter. Unlike stories I have heard about renovation contractors, Earnest responded immediately my attempts to get in touch with him. He always answered my phone calls and responded to emails and text messages within an hour. Furthermore, he organized his crew so that they actually began the work on time and finished on time. His tilers were wonderful – they produced a visually stunning job on both the flooring and on the shower base and walls. I also want to shout out to Ryan, who did a masterful job on demolition and reconstruction. I would recommend this company without reservation.
