Anchor Pool and Spa

I purchased  a SMARTPOOL Robotic Pool Cleaner from Anchor Pool earlier this summer for approximately $300.00 .  I opened the box today to read the Operations Manual prior to using it.  It states in the manual that the electrical supply to this product must be installed in accordance with the National Electrical Code and all applicable local codes and ordinances.  I would have to have an additional electrical line installed in my backyard in order to use the Robotic Pool Cleaner.  I called Anchor Pool and spoke to the owner explaining the situation and asked her if I could return the product.  I explained to her the requirements for this product as stated in the Operations Manual and the potential hazards.  Her reply, "I DON'T UNDERSTAND, ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS PUT IT IN THE POOL AND PLUG IT IN."  SHE CLEARLY DOES NOT KNOW HER PRODUCT?OR JUST DOESN'T CARE.  She also told me this when I purchased the product.  Only after explaining that everything was still in the package and that the only item I took from the box was the manual, did she say that it could be returned.  But I would have to pay a 25% restocking fee.  OUTRAGEOUS    I have spent a lot of money here over the years having been a customer since 2001.
