The work is being paid for by the Burlington County Redevelopment Authority. They provided me with bid sheets. Every contractor took a sheet, they went over it and got it back to me, with prices and specific recommendations for everything they were going to do. All five bids were within a couple of thousand of each other. I spoke exclusively with the owner. He did work two doors down from me, so I was able to see a clear example of his work. I was impressed with his work. He examined the work to be done and what he had to do. He seemed professional. He gave me confidence that he could do a good job. He was very forthcoming and seemed confident in his ability to get things done. That's why I went with him.
