Do NOT use Trusty Tails! I came home one visit to find my elderly dog stuck in a bedroom in a puddle of urine. He was so upset he was groaning. We live in a building with a doorman - who informed me that the overnight visits I paid for were not being done. The walker was leaving my elderly dog alone. After advising the company that the sitter was not actually staying overnight, I was told that I was wrong. So, my doorman confirmed the times with me that the walker was in the apartment - and the walker was not there when he claimed to be; thankfully, my building doorman cared enough to watch out for my dog! On another visit, I paid for a walker to stay in my home and care for my dog. The walker did stay overnight, but decided to go on the roof to "smoke" setting off the fire alarms and causing me to get a warning from the building!! (Getting to the roof requires the use of a ladder - no one is allowed on the roof.) Scheduling is NOT easy either. I know that the company blatantly lied twice about the availability of my chosen walker because the company apparently wants to give the inferior walkers work. So, you can't even choose which walkers you want. I see reviews where people really like their walkers - that's great, until you realize that they will never be able to care for your dog if they leave Trusty Tails. In essence, Trusty Tails is dictating who you can hire outside of their service. Also, the owner makes her walkers sign non-compete agreements!! If she fires them or they quit on their own, they can't work for one year as a walker!! Choose wisely - this company does not care about your pets, just their profits. The good walkers have left only to find they can't work. Don't let this terrible business profit because you don't think there are other alternatives! I've used both Hoboken Unleashed and Jersey City Unleashed - they are excellent. Choose a business that has a conscience. For Trusty Tails, the best walkers are all gone - and the owner has made sure, as punishment, that you can't use them elsewhere. She thinks that you'll stay as a customer because you have no choice; prove her wrong!!! Disgraceful! I really hope people know what they are getting themselves into with this company. Also, Dog walkers beware!! The owner will curtail your ability to work! Shame on Trusty Tails. You are bad for dog owners and bad for dog walkers. If you are truly running a good business, you would have no need to make people sign restrictive covenants and hinder their ability to earn a living.

This is the 6th time we've used Wagging Tails to watch our dog and cat when away for vacations. They always follow our instructions and send daily text updates as to how our pets are doing allowing us to enjoy our vacation without having to worry. George (owner) is very responsive to any changes that are needed to the daily routine when we are away and their online scheduling system is very easy to use. Their pet sitters are very friendly and love animals.

Wagging Tails is excellent.  They are available for short term needs if something arises.  Very flexible.  When we travel they come and stay overnight with the dogs and cats and take very good care of them.

Our dog loves her walks, and we love that she gets exercise when we are not able to get her out for a walk. Wagging Tails has consistently provided reliable dog walking services for a relatively stable price. We have had several great walkers in the past and currently, our dog gets great care from Kris, Corrine and Ray. You can see how excited she is to see them by her happy tail wagging a mile a minute.
It is easy to set up or cancel appointments online or via phone. It also has never been a problem if we needed a last minute walk or if we needed to cancel on short notice.
I remember a time a couple years ago when our dog was not feeling well. She needed to eat a special food and was not accepting it. George had come to walk and feed her. She was definitely not herself and did not eat right away. George stayed with her to make sure she was ok and that she ate before he left.
Our dog is part of the family, and we trust that she is in good hands with Wagging Tails.

I have used Wagging Tails Dog Walking and Pet Sitting Services on numerous occasions over the past 2 plus years. I wouldn't leave my pets to just anyone. The staff is caring, competent and kind. They leave detailed notes after each visit.

This is a wonderful company. They are dependable, caring, and helpful. It's particularly helpful that you can schedule appointments online and cancel at the last minute if you need to.

The service has been great overall! I'm able to set up appointments online and receive a confirmation, which is convenient. They always show up on time and leave notes to let me know what happened during the visit and what they have done. The dogs are happy and it's been great working with them!
