On Monday someone from TJs Appliance Repair shop comes out to look at the machine. The technician was there for 20 minutes and had to replace a fuse for which I was charged $285 yet the actual part can be bought at a hardware store for $5 it turns out. I called TJ's to see why the cost was so much and get no answer. Still now its Wednesday and no one has called me back.
I then called the Berkeley Height Kenmore Repair shop back to inquire and at first they seemed helpful and said they would look into it. Then I called again Tuesday and spoke to 3 people in a matter of 10 minutes explaining the issue over and over. First time I called, I got placed on hold and then hung up on. Second time transfered to a voice mail. Third time someone named Pamela tried to help but then never called back. Finally, Wednesday I called again and still no one is able to help but I do get a call back from George (the regional manager) explaining to me that I need to call TJ's Repair Shop since they did the work and I am not there customer. How can that be? He tries to tell me he does work with TJ's but did not send them out, but some how they magically appeared at my door on Monday at the same time I booked the appointment.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT AGGRAVATION AND TO BE RIPPED OFF. They are compteley no help to there customers. Instead of trying to understand the issue and determine what happened, when you call they simply say "You are not my customer" and they wait for you to hang up. What kind of company ooperates that way.
