I will never go to them again. They came in and told me that it will cost us $900. They were a complete rip off. I sent them away. My brother in law came by and replaced the valve in 30 minutes and it cost us 85-90$. I paid them $150 for the service call but I will never ever do business with them again.

Had main shut-off valve replaced fairly quickly without problems. He snaked the sink drain from sink end but clog remained. Then he detached a coupling in basement pipe and tried from there. Finally said the snake would not turn a corner, and pipe needed replacement at a cost of $300-$400. Coupling started dripping. I called, he returned, said it was fixed, but it leaked again soon after he left. I called again. He said he was returning the next week to replace the pipe, couldn't run back and forth to repair the leak, and couldn't guarantee old plumbing. I would have to live with it for a week. Called another plumber for a second opinion. He showed up, snaked the drain, cleared the clog, repaired the leaky coupling and replaced trap and cracked connector ring (which was not cracked before the first plumber's work). All my questions were answered, he worked hard and fixed the problem. I can't believe I almost paid $300 for unnecessary replacement of pipe. Will NEVER recommend J&M.

I called J&M on a Friday and they were able to fit me on for the following Monday. I had to reschedule for a later time on Monday and that was no problem. When the gentleman arrived, he quickly assessed the problem with my leaking shower and advised me that the work would be better perfomed by a company that specializes in grouting. He gave me the number of someone and did not charge me for the service call. He was professional, friendly and helpful. In the event that I need a plumber I will definitely be calling them again.

This company treated me like a valued customer. They were always respectful in my home. Their work was extremely neatly done. I would give them my business in the future and feel comfortable referring them to others because they do such great work. In my case, their payment arrangements were handled through my general contractor so I can not comment on their prices.

THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AT THEIR WORK. THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING AND WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE. THEY WERE VERY COURTEOUS AND NEAT. WE HAVE RECOMMEND THEM TO OUR FRIENDS.
