He checked the skylight and charged $200, and sealed around the skylight. But it did not fix the leak at all. It was leaking while raining. We called him several times and he kept saying he would come but never did. He left us a leaking skylight on rainy days for weeks. I ended up hiring other people to fix the skylight. It is ironic that I hired him because I saw some good reviews from the internet.

Bob did an excellent job on the fixes needed at a reasonable price. This is the second time we've hired Bob, and will hire again. Was prompt and responsive with scheduling.

After several calls and a few estimates to have our chimney flashing repaired, I finally decided to join Angie's List. All the other estimates we received did not give us a warm fuzzy feeling. We got the feeling that because we had a small job, we were getting inflated prices because it was not going to be a big money maker. As a new home owner, it is daunting to have to seek and decide on a contractor, when we have little experience or guidance when it comes to roof repairs.
Bob was able to accommodate us super fast. I suspect the time of the year (December, holidays) had something to do with his availability, however, we were extremely pleased to have him over for an estimate within 24 hours after our first phone call. Even better, he was the lowest estimate we received. Even better than that? He was able to do this work for us the next day. He was prompt, he was tidy, and he gave us some insight on our problem, how he was going to resolve it. He also gave us some additional advice on our flat roof. Bob completed our chimney flashing work in about 4 hours. He did not subcontract or hire a laborer; did the work himself. You can tell he takes pride in his craft and we will absolutely have him back to give us an estimate on our flat roof this spring/summer. We recommend Bob for your roofing repairs and installs.

The process went great.
We were originally just getting a new roof for our addition but then we had several leaks in the old roof. I had already contracted Bob for the new roof that we were waiting to schedule him for and our old roof sprung several leaks on two days of downpouring rain. He came over immediately and put a tarp on the roof. When the rain stopped and dried, he replaced the old flat roofing.
He completed the new roof and it looks great. He matched it exactly to the old roof so you can't really tell where one ends and the other begins.

We bought a new house which we wanted re-roofed before we moved in. Additionally, we had a small repair on the garage roof of the house we were selling. We called four companies for quotes. Two of the company's wanted to charg astronomical rates for the repair. Although their prices were close to Bob's quote for the new roof, we liked the fact that he was willing to charge a reasonable rate for the repair. The reason we chose him over the other reasonable repair quote was because he hand nails the shingles. We had quite a few repairs on our previous home due to less then perfect nailing jobs and did not want to run into problems again. We also liked the fact that he does the work himself as opposed to just being the "sales guy".
Bob worked with us to get the job done quickly once the purchase of the house was complete. The roof looks great! Time will tell, but no leaks with the storms we've had thus far. And I'm confident that he did a good job and will stand by his work.
