Acme Plumbing & Heating

We departed for Florida on 30 Sept. and provided a key and alarm code to company. They installed the cabinets and ceiling fan  w/in 10 days and things just stopped. We were not informed of any problems or delays. It seems the granite installer company, INTELLCO of West Deptford, NJ refused to install the countertop until 30 October (according to the builder and INTELLCO.
While we do realize that INTELLCO was the problem we find fault with the builder in that we were NOT notified of any problems. It was not till we departed Florida on the 28th of October and called the builder that we found out the job would not be completed until after the 30th of Oct. We walked in to the builder - the counter top installer's and the delivery people with new appliances all at once. Again, communication from the builder, Jack Ryan , was key to this review. We believe that after all the problems the job was completed to our satisfaction regardless of the miscommunication but that was due to the employee, Bob , doing the work not the efforts of the owner or INTELLCO.
The only other comment was the additional cost of the garbage disposal and ceiling fan. We thought the additional $250.00 was a little excessive. But that might just be us. The builder said he had to build up a new wall and he absorbed that cost. Whatever.......
