Excellently.  As far as I am concerned, finding this guy on Angie's List has been worth much more than my membership fees for the last 6 years.  He is very competent and prepared to discuss various options for repair.  I have some engineering background and he seems to understand the broader implications of whatever we are talking about doing.  He does very good work (as he opened up various parts and found more problems he suggested good solutions and implemented them very well).  Furthermore, he is pleasant to work with, his prices are very reasonable and he obviously looks for ways to keep the cost down,  I plan to use him for any jobs like this in the future - I used to do a lot of this stuff myself, but am getting too old for some of the tasks - and he does a better job than I used to do!

Called John as emergency for roof leak.  He came out SAME DAY!  John evaluated, gave temporary fix and was back next sunny day, called and emailed follow up first, and repaired.  John provides detailed explanation and pictures of all work and is more than fairly priced.  He is pleasant, professional and knowledgeable.  Without a doubt most trustworthy and performs excellent work.  Never do I feel out of the loop, John takes the time to explain all work and provides written estimates of same usually by the end of the same day.

John did a pretty good job in a timely fashion. I will definitely recommend john for small/medium house repair/renovation.

I had changed the windows myself and removed the old storm windows, which left the trim damaged.  They were very prompt at all phases of the project.  The price quote seemed high, but they were clear about the time it would take and the charge per hour.  They patched the trim with filler, masked and painted two coats.  They finished in one hour less than originally estimated and they adjusted the price down accordingly.  They followed up to make sure I was happy with the work.

At first I thought his price was high but I checked around with people who had similar work done and it was about the same.  We had a heavy rain and he called to ask to make sure that the roof was holding.
