After only 5 months half are dead and the rest look very sick. Lost my $3500. Connor Riedel told me he does not give guarantees. (now I know why. Most do, but not all give guarantees) Riedel did not even offer ANY compensation for my dead trees! It would have been a good business practice! He obviously never worked with trees that large, had trouble moving & planting them. Too close together which may have helped kill them and never advised me that they should not be planted that close together. Not enough roots were taken with the trees when they were dug up at the nursery. The first one died 60 days after planting and it was planted leaning over from the first day. Waste of all my money; may seek legal action against him. Young kid, don't hire him!
Description of Work: 10 large Leyland Cyprus trees planted for $3,500.

[Email removed] to me Hello Connor, One of the ten Leylands you planted for us at the end of August appears to be on its "last legs"....after less than four months. Could you stop by at your convenience to look at it and determine the best course of action? Thank you, [Member Name Removed] & [Member Name Removed] [Member Information Removed] I'm sorry to hear about your loss on the trees , and your bad experience with the trees [Member Name Removed] ,I do not guarantee trees because i can't afford if the homeowner doesn't water them properly they can cause major damage to the trees health. When i first met you i thought you were a nice guy and i offered the trees to you at cost , and Labor for two hard days work for me and my brother and my john deere tractor. There must have been some miscommunication somewhere along the line because i never offered any warranty on the trees as also the nursery that grows the trees doesn't guarantee any plant material. I do not guarantee trees because most trees die from overwatering or under watering. When planting these trees i expressed my opinion on spacing these trees a little further apart but to no avail you were more worried about your neighbor looking into your windows and wanted a complete blockage from them.,, after planting the the trees you did have some heavy equipment right next to the trees to put in a pool , thus compacting the soil pore space, making it harder for the roots of the newly planted trees to get water .
