They were very professional. They came right back after I called with a concern. So far, no problems.

It was a real bad situation but we were very happy with the overall result. Mike was very responsive and the price was definately reasonable. Mike and his helpers were very respectful, professional and neat. I called Mike on a Friday afternoon and he had his helper, Joe come out to help troubleshoot. Joe was a really great guy and he helped me pinpoint the issue. The problem was very complex since there was no easy access to the cracked pipe. About a week later, Mike came out to take a look and he determined that we would need to remove a large kitchen cabinet/pantry in order to make repairs. He arranged to have a carpenter come out to remove the cabinet and re-install once the pipe was repaired. It was a big job but these guys had it done in a few hours. Most of the copper waste line and venting system was replaced with PVC. Mike texted me pictures of the work he had done before the carpenter put everything back together. When I came home from work everything was fixed and put back together neatly. I would highly reccommend Navesink Plumbing without hesitation.

In December we had a bathroom renovated and a new toilet put in (not by this company). In late January, the new toilet stopped working. The toilet at first began to refill very slowly and made a hissing sound, then it was fine, then it would flush, but the tank would not fill at all. I was quite unhappy as this was a brand new toilet. Rather than call the installer, I decided I needed a plumber. I have not had great luck with plumbers in the past, so I checked here. I liked the many positive reviews and the fact that they were close by. I called early the next morning, and left the whole thing in the hands of my husband. He said they called back right away, made an appointment for that afternoon, came and fixed the problem, explained what had happened, and even looked at another issue we were having and advised us to call the company to get a replacement part because it should be free and then they will come back and put it in. When I get to that, we will call them. I am sad that they don't do drains, because we need that done alot. We were very happy and will use them again.

I spoke with Mike and explained the problem and that I had a video and pictures on my phone. Mike told me to send the video and pictures to him and he would call me back. He called me back 5 minutes later and told me what needed to be done. I ask him if he would come by and turn it off. (We've recently moved into this home and didn't know where the shut off valve was located.) He explained that he was picking up something for another job, but would be come by. Mike showed up at my home 30 minutes later and went into the crawl space and shut off the valve. Mike then recommended someone who could repair the sprinkler system during the spring. We didn't think anyone would of come out so quickly and fixed my problem. We appreciate all he did and will call him if we need any plumbing help!

Called Navesink Plumbing and spoke to the owner Mike. I gave him a brief description of the job, I told him that someone had started the job but kept telling me he was coming to finish and wouldn't show up. So I decided to call someone else. I called Navesink Plumbing and arranged for Mike to come and look at the job and see if he was interested in doing it. Mike arrived on time and spent about 30 minutes in my crawl space looking at what needed to be done and then another 30 minutes speaking to me about the work that was done and what would need to be done to complete the job. This was on a Saturday. He told me he could do the job and would call me on Monday to give me a price for the job. I didn't get a call on Monday or Tuesday from Mike so I decided to call him on Wednesday. When I called, Mike answered and said he was on a job, but had the paperwork for my job at home and told me he would call me that night with the price for the job. Wednesday night came and went and I never heard from MIke. Thursday and Friday passed by and I still didn't get a call from Navesink Plumbing. Call me stubborn, but I called Mike on Saturday and got his voice mail, left him a message telling him if he wasn't interested in doing the job just give me a call back and I'll look for someone else. Never heard from him. Totally unprofessional. The ironic part of this is what led me to call him was the good reviews he received on Angie's List.

I originally spoke with Mike to discuss a hot water tank issue. He said he would be in the area the following week and to give him a call when I was available. Unfortunately, my work didn't allow me an opportunity that week in early December. Since that point, I have called Mike multiple times. I have left messages, texts and received no response.

Came out promptly and fixed issue with toilet very quickly and expertly. Have used Navesink Plumping in the past and will continue to use them in the future.

I had a minor leak in a refrig. water pipe. I called Mike and asked him if he could come over to repair it, this was on Saturday. He said he is booked and that he could come over on Wed. I told him I was going away tomorrow for a few days. He said he would try and make it today and he would call. Later that afternoon he told me he could not make it today. So I told him to book Wed for me and I would get some to dump the water in the bucket I had under the leak. He asked what time I was going away tomorrow. I told him and it was pretty early. He told me he would come over before I leave and fix the leak. Mike came over early Sunday and fixed the leak. The job was done very well and he was very professional. If I ever needed a plumber again he would be the one I'd call.

Based on great reviews, I called to have a plumber come out an inspect a faucet that was extending out from my house. As new homeowners, we wanted to make sure we weren't going to have any major problems with the pipe/faucet freezing in the cold weather. I called Mike to setup an appointment for the following week. He had called me back later in the day to ask if the plumber could come out an hour earlier than planned, which was no problem. Joe arrived right on time and couldn't be more pleasant to deal with. He explained what he saw and told us we weren't in harms way. Plus he offered some good suggestions for the future. I would use this company again for any plumbing needs!

Mike returned my initial inquiry call promptly, and gave me an estimate over the phone. He dropped by at my convenience to check on the installation locations and to confirm the estimate. Since we needed the kitchen sink immediately after the new countertop was installed, he was great about getting one of his men to our house right after the countertop installers left. The next week, they worked around my schedule and changed our water heater and main valve during the later afternoon. Mike is a total pleasure to work with--extremely professional and knowledgeable. His pricing is extremely fair--a rare find for a plumber who is so accommodating about schedule!

Before contacting Navesink Plumbing & Heating, I had tried contacting two OTHER plumbers whom I had both used in the past (not from Angie's List), in order to diagnose a problem with my baseboard hot water heating system at a rental property I own. Both of the OTHER plumbers did not return repeated phone calls over a period of about 2 weeks, and their answering services blamed it on high volume of service calls, etc. So I joined Angies's List to find a new plumber. I called Navesink Plumbing & Heating because the reviews were impressive. The plumber returned my call the next day (on a Saturday) and was able to to come out for a diagnosis that SAME day (a Saturday). It turned out to be a very simple problem -- somehow a valve had been turned the wrong way, causing part of the baseboard heating loop to fail to get hot because hot water wasn't going into that part of the loop. Once the valve was in the correct position the entire zone of the baseboard hot water heating system worked fine. The plumber even took time to explain how a kickspace heater tied into the zone operated, and why there was a delay between the furnace turning on that zone and the kickspace heater turning on. The entire service visit took about 30-45 minutes, and because it was such a simple problem, Navesink Plumbing & Heating did not charge anything to fix it, not even a service visit or diagnosis charge. I will DEFINITELY be calling Navesink Plumbing & Heating again when I upgrade my furnace from heating oil to gas.

We decided to replace the unit, and his plumbers came back and did an excellent job at a reasonable price.

Would highly recommend this plumber!!! Our hot water heater burst the day after the nor'easter. We found Navesink plumbing on Angie's list and called Mike for the replacement. He was at our door in less than 30 minutes, managed to find us a new heater. (A week after hurricane Sandy, so this was not a simple matter!) He had the new unit installed by lunchtime! Neat, courteous, and a pleasure to deal with. We will recommend Mike to all our neighbors and friends. You won't be disappointed!

Called on a Saturday, got a call back on a Sunday of all days. Then set appt to fix sink cartridge from Kohler. Then needed work in a rental property, immediately arrived and fixed the item. FYI- called several plumbers to advise about the cartridge repair but no one got back to me as the job was small. Navesink called and did it without issue.

It was excellent service. I will definitely use Navesink Plumbing in the future.

I had a shut off valve not shuting off the water,going to my washer.So,I contacted Mike first time using his services.(NOT THE LAST).I called Monday evening he responded the following day first thing in the morning seen I had already purchesed the part so he just went ahead and replaced the valve for me. The prompt service and professionalism hands down the best contractor I ever worked with.I can't stress how impressed I was with his service.I will never use anyone else.Mike has made this headach,disapear quicker then any tylenol I have ever taken. I would highly reccommend him to everyone.You will not be disappointed. Thanks for your honsety Mike !!!

We've finally found a great plumber! Mike was courteous and professional. We left him a voice mail message and he called us back within the hour. He assessed the work required over the phone and came out the same afternoon; he even called again to say he'd be a few minutes late, even though he was only 6 minutes later than our appointment time. He not only replaced an old, cracked brass pipe with updated PVC piping, he also condensed the line so we have more room underneath the sink. He was friendly and explained exactly what he was doing. He was finished within his time estimate of an hour, including cleaning up everything. The work is perfect - no leaks or drips - and the price is very reasonable.

Great response to intial call based on Angie's List referral. CXalled back to confirm and again befre arival on day of appointment. All services performed as promised. Great Job!

Finally, I have found a plumber who is honest, reliable and reasonable. I am in my house for 28 years and have not found a decent plumber in my area who is not charging an arm and leg for their services. Joe came in (exactly on time, I might add) and accessed the problem, told me I needed a new faucet and showed me the problem, then waited for me to go buy one so he can replace it!!!!! I am so thrilled with this company that I will tell everyone I know when asking if I know a plumber, to call Navesink Plumbing!!!!

Mike returned my call within minutes and offered to come over the same day, but I had other plans so we made an appointment for later in the week and he was prompt and very professional. Unfortunately the job was too complicated to do at that time so we made plans to do it the next day. He sent two of his workers over who arrived an hour earlier than expected, which was fine. They also were very professional and got the job done efficiently in about an hour less than the 4 hours Mike had estimated. In addition to installing a new pipe from basement to first floor (making only a tiny, neat hole in the wall, which I appreciated) they also replaced a wobbly toilet at Mike's suggestion and at no labor cost since they had to take the toilet out anyway. And they adjusted another toilet to keep it from using too much water. I really appreciated the time Mike took to check out the fixtures and make suggestions for improving them. The additional repairs cost next to nothing but are big improvements. I'm very satisfied and will definitely be calling him again for some other things I need done.

I called and left a message. He called back the next day, came over the following day and gave me an estimate and next day the job was done. The price included a choice of fixtures for my bathtub and shower.

They did a good job. They were very responsive. They made themselves available to me fairly quickly, and did the job exactly how they said they were going to do it. They actually showed up earlier than expected. I am relatively a new homeowner, so I don’t really know if I can grade them on price or compare it but I think it was fair because there was parts and labor. I would recommend them for some minor stuff because I haven’t really had much experience with them; it was the first time I used them, and it wasn’t really a big job.
