Full Circle Lawn Care and Landscaping

I received an estimate for trimming hedges on 6/27/19, and received a quote for the work via email on 7/1. I had reached out to them via phone or message (or both- don't recall) to get the estimate as I am not used to waiting for estimates more than a day or so. The estimate was reasonable, and I waited for them to contact me after I submitted their invoice, signed (via email). I called them again 7/5, left VM. 7/8- crew shows up without any notice, attempts to schedule work (I have to notify neighbors, move vehicles, and want to be on-site when the work is done). I called the office about needing to schedule this work, girl in office said she only schedules estimates, not work. I never heard from them again, and have since contacted another company to do the work. 8/5/19 - workers show up again without any notice, attempt to schedule. I have called them again, left a very blunt (not my usual approach) message to cancel the work request. I have never worked with an organization that had so little regard for coordination and scheduling or consideration for the homeowner.

I used Full Circle for a few jobs at my home in Red Bank/Middletown and would not recommend. They installed 3 arborvitaes that all died within about a month of planting. During the same job, they also transplanted 2 of our preexisting magnolias. The quote clearly stated, "No Guarantee on Transplant" (which obviously refers specifically to TRANSPLANTING our magnolias). When I contacted them about the arborvitaes, they claimed there was no guarantee for the arborvitaes OR the transplants. They explained that weather and soil conditions are out of their control once something is planted and that we would have paid 2x more for a guarantee. I have never before heard of a landscaper refusing to stand behind plants they provide or an upcharge for a guarantee that plants will survive. For the record, shortly after their work was completed, we independently planted some other arborvitaes on the property that survived our weather, soil and watering just fine. I eventually had another landscaper replace Full Circle's 3 dead arborvitaes with new ones and they are thriving. Full Circle Lawn Care does not stand behind their work.
