 + -1 moreAfter the piano inspection and repair he gave me a price for a tuning. He said that based on the amount of use it currently gets he wouldn't recommend a tuning now since it is in decent tune. I was impressed with his knowledge and honesty.

 + 1 moreA neighbor of mine who owns and plays piano recommended Andy Letke (she gave me his card). I called him and left a message. He got back to me within the hour and answered all of my questions. He even came over to look at it (at a time that was good for both of us) before we agreed to have any work done. Andy seemed really knowledgeable, friendly, and respectful. It was a pleasure to have him in my house. He was able to clean out the inside and get my piano sounding like it was brand new! He played a song for me to show me the difference as we chatted about music... and now I am going to start piano lessons with him! I highly recommend Andy Letke to anyone who is interested in good service and the knowledge of a skilled expert.
Description of Work: I inherited an old family piano that hasn't been tuned (or played) in about 15 years. I wasn't sure if it could get back to working order. Also, I didn't want to dump a bunch of money into it when I could find another newer piano that has been maintained better. Some of the keys were stuck and it was dreadfully out of tune.
