SUPER CLEAN

The lead "carpenter", if I can call him that, was an amateur who did not understand framing. The closets were framed too shallow. He installed a much smaller window than what was called for. Drywall screws were used instead of nails for framing a partition, and there was no "toe-nailing" so that the studs would rotate. The crown molding was butchered and caulked to cover the bad joints. An inadequate amount of fasteners were used to install plywood sub flooring. I stopped the job because the crew just could not get it right. The owner of Super Clean, Frank Pietro, agreed that there was no sense in proceeding because he could see that this was just not going to work. Frank also told me at that point that his carpenter was actually a painter that he was trying out on my home. Frank agreed to refund the balance of my money from the deposit I had given him because he could not fulfill his obligation. He offered to pay me $50.00 per month until the settlement amount was reached which makes one wonder about his cash flow situation. I would not accept those terms so he agreed to $100.00 per month starting in August, and no surprise, I have not seen one dime of my refund. I just get the run around when we speak.
