While my job was relatively small ($1175), Mark was very responsive to my questions and promptly returned my phone calls. He completed my sidewalk repair prior to the deadline that I had and the quality of his work and the work of his team was excellent. I would not hesitate to use Mark and Empire Masonry for future masonry work and would recommend him and his company to my friends and family.

The team was great. They were professional and punctual. They were a contractor you felt you could talk to and work with. Their price was competitive with the other contractors. However, when you talked to them and worked with them they just gave you the feeling that you wanted to work with them and to continue to work with them in the future

Mark Stanfield of Empire Masonry, Bayville NJ handled job and communications quite professionally and effectively. Made suggestions, was not pushy, kept to the schedule agreed. After Sandy we had a problem, water was coming in to part of the house and Empire Masonry and Home Improvement repaired it. Empire Masonry and Home Improvement charges a very reasonable price and they sealed it up very well. They did a really good job and did it very quickly. He finished in a day or two, maybe less and the price was fair and it's holding very nicely.

Very well. Mark knew what I needed to be done and he stayed in contact with me. He was on time for the appointment which is rare today. He explained his actually date of starting the project would depend on the weather.

My brick and cement front steps/landing were showing signs of age after 15 years of use. Also, due to the fact there was no railing, my mother was entering the house via the back deck. Empire Masonry was in the area when I first called and responded with the estimate request that day. I approved the price and due to rain, work started almost four weeks later. Two weeks later everything was complete. I am very pleased with the look of my newly renovated porch. The aluminum rails were cemented into the limestone and are very sturdy. My only disappointment is, due to the fact that I requested a sealant, sneaker shoe-prints not visible prior to the application are now noticeable. The quality of the masonry work itself is very good. I would use this company again. Also, they were very tidy. Nothing was left for me to have to clean up.
