For Jim and his crew - PROBLEM SOLVING -- NO PROBLEM!! A door was hitting a beam. Jim shaved the door so precisely that the door closes and latches properly and the shaved part is not noticeable. In the new closet we wanted a bookshelf and a shelf above the clothes rod so Jim built a very sturdy shelf suspended from the ceiling. During construction there was a leak in the adjacent laundry room. GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND Jim and his crew figured out the cause of the leak and fixed the problem which included hacking away at 6 or more inches of solid ice on the deck (it was January!!!) I was most impressed with Jim's ATTENTION TO DETAIL . Jim displayed respectful authority with his crew. He hired people who cared about the outcome of their work. The drywall, paint, electrical, plumbing, tile and grout were all done to perfection. Jim held his workers to a very high standard. The results speak for themselves. Jim took the time to LISTEN to what we wanted. He shared his thoughts about how he would approach each step of the project. His COMMUNICATION skills were excellent.. Quitting time was when the TASK WAS COMPLETED for the day not when the clock said a certain time. At the end of each day Jim gave us an UPDATE to let us know how things were progressing. He was UPFRONT AND HONEST expressing concerns when encountering problems. When shopping at home improvement stores Jim sent us choices via his phone with pictures and information about products. We were so pleased with this company that we have already hired them again to repair our deck and replace the deck stairs!!
