"We made you a new key 10 months ago when you lost your original key (at your location). You came into our office with a broken key 10 months later (the plastic was all broken and cracked like it was hit with a baseball bat). We tried our best to explain to you that once the key leaves our possession we have no control over what happens to the key (the alarm pad could've gone bad for a bunch of reasons and could definitely be from the physical damage). We offered you cheaper options vs getting a whole new key. You did not want to hear anything unless it involved you getting a new key at no charge. I'm sorry we cannot warranty a physically damaged key from 10 months ago."
