Gattorno Renovations

Their installation of my dishwasher was so bad that when a Bosch dishwasher repairman came to diagnose the problem, he told me he was forced to VOID MY WARRANTY because my contractor had drilled HOLES into the sidewalls of my dishwasher. Eddie hasn?t paid my repair bill from Bosch and even changed his phone number before I was able to speak to him even once after this latest incident. This was not the only problem. His men directly caused my clothes washer to flood onto the newly installed laundry room floor. Separately, his men caused a sewer backup by dumping paint water down my bathroom drains. Disgusting, appalling bacteria-filled nightmare!! My entire house smelled like a sewer for 2 days. I had to sanitize my entire house. Never again! I?m out over $3000 in damages, not even including flooding the new floor. He?s running away. Be warned. updated: My earlier review gave 2 stars but I am posting another one here with only 1 star in order to protect others from hiring Eddie and his careless team. Another problem has surfaced since my first review. I had some plumbing work done recently by my usual plumber and he happened to notice that whoever did the plumbing during my kitchen renovation ran the HOT WATER LINE instead of the cold water line into my new refrigerator (Eddie Gattorno?s team made this mistake). By drawing from the hot water line, my new refrigerator was using bacteria-contaminated water to dispense water and to make ice. This was a serious health hazard, which I cannot afford. Gattorno Renovations was responsible for this. No one should ever tolerate this kind of dangerous error / incompetence. This mistake and several others (some related to plumbing) calls into question the quality of the rest of the kitchen renovation. Stay away from this contractor.

So this is the second time Iâ ve had Eddie and his workers back at my house within a year. Recently, he just updated my kitchen and top floor. They did such good work. I had him back to remodel my basement. Once again, I was thoroughly pleased with Eddieâ s work, and that of his employees. Not only did Eddie do what I specified, but also made various suggestions That helped with the overall outcome of the project. He also noticed some different issues I had with some of my plumbing in the basement and resolve those as well.. I recommended him to several other people who also had a very good experience with him! I highly recommend his services!

Eddie and his workers did a great job on our kitchen remodel. They also redid all of our flooring and painting on our entire first floor. Eddie also recommended putting in ceiling lighting which turned out great. His workers were very friendly and worked very diligently throughout the day. Iâ ve already recommended him to two of my friends and I would use him again in the future.

He came back and completed the work.

Nice work on the bathroom and kitchen remodeling. Only reason for not giving 5 stars because of the delay in completing the tub/shower when needed. Otherwise the kitchen looks impressive for anyone who is waiting to move in. Thanks, Eddie!

Easy to work with, very responsive.

These guys are so good I almost want to write a bad review so other people cannot find them. Lol. I came in with SUPER specific ideas for what I wanted for my bathrooms. Like, I chose the tile, the grout, the fixtures, the layout, etc, and Eddie and the guys laid it DOWN! Their work far exceeded my expectations. Renaldo, Jason, and Jose were amazing. Always pleasant. They made sure to include me every step of the way to make sure I enjoyed the final product. Eddie listened to my ideas and worked with me to make sure that things turned out the way I wanted, but were also safe and efficient. And these guys work QUICKLY!!! Things were slightly delayed in completion only because I was so specific that the guys had to wait on items that I had ordered to finish the job. Overall, I have plans to use these guys in the future for any renovations or repairs my home may need down the line, and trust them enough to refer them to my family. These guys are absolutely amazing. I wish there was a way for me to add pictures to this review so that you guys could see some of their work. A++++ contractors!

They did a very good job! I was satisfied with the bathroom that they did. Good price and very personable.

Eddie came to our house to remodel 3 bathrooms, and we ended up doing much more than that. We are very happy to have found Eddie. He not only did a superb job, but he also gave us great ideas on how to rebuild our bathrooms. As we were happy with how the team finished the bathrooms, we had him do additional work which including painting the inside of our home, changing all the doors, replacing all the molding, and installing fans and lights. In addition, our outside porch was also cracked and leaning to one side, and Gattorno Renovation did an excellent job rebuilding the porch and fixing numerous defects in the cement walkway. Eddie is very personable and responsive; he listens to you and provides wonderful solutions. We highly recommend Eddie, and we plan to use his services again in the near future.

I hired them to redo two bathrooms and had to do more work and be more involved then I wanted. They work hard and do good work, but a lot of the details fell on me like choosing valves (which I knew nothing about) and at the end of the project I was left with a lot of costly overages. If you like being involved and have time to manage the project, these guys are perfect.

My bathroom was in very bad shape due to water damage from several leaking pipes. When Eddie came to give me an estimate, he responded right away and he gave me hope that he was going to make it right. He was very friendly and personable. My bathroom turned out amazing. It looked like something out of a magazine. I am so happy with it. Eddie is a great communicator and calls you back immediately. I never felt lost because he was always there to answer my questions. I was very impressed with his crew. They were all very hard workers and were very nice. All in all, when Eddie works for you, it's like having a trusted family member working for you. He is actually working on my second bathroom now. I can safely say that I now have a contractor who will always be there to make my home a better home. I will always refer him to family and friends with confidence.

We took a chance when Eddie/Gattorno Renovations popped up first in a Home Advisor search. Read the reviews and invited him in to quote. He seemed to know his business; quote came considerably under that of the contractor we have used for 30 years. We checked the references he gave us and crossed our fingers. Now we are happy to add to the good reviews. He (and his crew) of three gutted and remodeled our bathroom in nine days, showed a lot of care for our house, was generous with time and explanations, recommendations, co-shopping. And from what we saw, good to his crew. We will use him again!

I love love love my new bathroom. Eddie, Dennis, and George were wonderful. Full bathroom gut job completed in 10 working days!! Very competitive price. In fact, we loved their work so much we immediately hired Eddie to do another bathroom. Couldn't be happier.

Eddie, Dennis and team did a great job renovating our two bathrooms. Right from the start, the communication was clear, the team was on time. They were able to provide the solutions and their invaluable advice to many of our concerns/questions and were very flexible and considered with the scope change. A takeaway as an owner: be ready with your materials not to hold up the crew. We will highly recommend The Gattorno Renovations!

PROS-I really liked the work Eddie and company did.It was done fairly fast,I needed that because I didnt want to have to get a hotel.They took out a old tub and put in a shower.Re -tiled the floor and walls.Looks great.Eddie even came back when I had a issue with the faucet,and fixed it. CONS- Things I would do differently next time are- Get a quote for everything,not just the labor and building materials.I mean things like trash removal,and the tiles and sink fixtures.I understand that those really are my responsibility.First time doing anything like this,it was a learning experience. I will be doing my kitchen and I may very well use Eddie again.

Based on the recommendations on Home Advisor I contacted Eddie, and he got right back to me, and that was his consistent behavior throughout all the work he did for us. We were completely remodeling our bathroom, taking out the old porcelain tub and putting in an enclosed glass shower stall, ripping out the walls and the ceiling and the floors all the way down to the beams and the joists and then building it all out again with new plumbing, new wiring. Eddie and his crew were magnificent. At the end of every day he would say, and Come. See what we have done.and And we would talk about it, and what was coming next, and often talking together we had make minor changes which significantly improved everything. He helped us fine a good tile place, and an excellent (and cheaper) glass outfit. His work was meticulous; he has an excellent eye for detail, and his suggestions were always right on. The first day he came over he gave us a price for his work, a price which was more than fair, and he never attempted to change it even when I asked him on a few occasions to do some extra little things for us that we had not talked about and that were not in his contract. He is easy to get along with and consult with and honest and meticulous in his attention to detail. At the end of the project, after we had paid him the final amount we found a small problem and I called Eddie and he came over the next day, and while it took him all morning he fixed it without complaining or charging me anything extra, and at the end he said, If any thing else goes wrong, give me a call and I will be right there. That is the kind of person he is.

I am so happy with the bathroom remodel done by Eddie and his team. The job came out beautifully, like a hotel bathroom, said my daughter. Eddie and his team came every day until the job was completed. They are all friendly and very professional.

Eddie and his crew are simply the best. I highly rate them for their fabulous work. Our tile looks like it was done by an artist. The crew was super respectful of my home and each night they left the job site in good order. The same crew comes each day and they work fast while having great attention to each detail. Cannot wait to use them again.

We are beyond happy with the bathroom that Eddie renovated for us! This was our first remodeling project and Eddie was so helpful and provided us with great suggestions and guidance. Eddie was reliable, easy to work with, and offered great prices for his work. We will be using Eddie again in the future and we recommend you do to!

Eddie and his crew renovated our bathroom and they did a great job. His price was fair. Dennis' tile work is exceptional. I would highly recommend them.

I would definitely recommend Eddie from Gattorno Renovations and would hire him again. He met his deadline, his cost was competitive and the workmanship was excellent. I had a partial remodel of my bathroom (new vanity, new tiling, new mirror, new lights, new shower fixtures, painting). Eddie went with me to pick out the new items and was helpful. (If I did this again, I would spend more time upfront deciding what I wanted. Not Eddie's fault though.) He and his team said that it would take 3 days and other than a short delay from my own building, he met the deadline. Along the way, some changes needed to be made and Eddie discussed each one with me and we decided the best course of action. Excellent experience!

Very respectful, accommodating, and professional. Worked cleanly and finished the project on time. I highly recommend them, rehiring soon for next project. They also left multiple numbers to call for any reason.

I have hired Eddie for a couple of projects over the last 5 years and it has always been a pleasure, very satisfied

I had a leak in the bath tub. He started the work in August. He installed new shower head and faucet. He fixed the leak and it now squeaks. I called him 5-6 times to come over and fix the squeak. He says he is coming next week. He never shows up.
