WE CONTACTED BOB WITH MULTIPLE PROJECTS AND SEVERAL MONTHS IN WHICH TO COMPLETE THEM. HE HAS DONE SO SUCCESSFULLY, AND WITH GOOD HUMOR. WHEN WE THOUGHT WE MIGHT HAVE A BUYER INTERESTED PRIOR TO LISTING, BOB CAME OVER RIGHT AWAY AND STARTED THE PROJECTS. HE HAS NOTICED THINGS IN OUR HOME THAT WE DID NOT WHICH NEEDED REPAIR. WE HAVE FELT COMFORTABLE HAVING BOB IN OUR HOME WHEN WE ARE NOT THERE. THERE ARE STILL SOME PROJECTS TO COMPLETE AS THE WEATHER WARMS AND WE ANTICIPATE HE WILL GET THEM DONE IN A TIMELY AND PROFESSIONAL FASHION.

The counter top removal went great. He showed up on time and completed the job within the time stated. The problem is that I had two jobs that I needed completed. I also wanted him to fix some water damage to a ceiling. We made arrangements for him to come by and fix it but then he disappeared for 3 weeks. I spoke with him again and he promised to take care of it. He came by and scraped and and spackled the area. He was supposed to come back again to sand and paint the ceiling but again he disappeared. I never heard back from him. I went ahead and hired a painter to finish it up.

In the process of selling our townhouse, the buyers asked for our basements stairs to be reinforced as they were very squeaky. Bob was very responsive to my inquiry, explained his pricing up front and was able to come over within a couple days of my call. He called the night before to inform me he was going to be late, which was very much appreciated. Bob inspected the stairs, explained the issue with detail and then started on the work. He went right to work and his price was very reasonable. He cleaned-up after the work was completed. I would definitely use him again.

We had a wide variety of projects and Bob handled them all with flexibility, innovative ideas and good humour. When we had questions or asked for his input, he responded thoughtfully and shared his ideas with us. He came up with some solutions that we had not thought of before which was very helpful. Sometimes he could have been more efficient, but perhaps it was because of the wide variety of things we had him working on. He was easy to have in our home and we were very comfortable having him working in our home when we were away. We no longer have our leak that haunted us for so many years, we have a lovely ceramic tile floor on our lower level, our outdoor lighting looks great and makes it much safer after dark, and I finally have a laundry sink and a platform for the washer and dryer which make my life so much easier! Bob did a fine job on our list of projects and I would hire him again.

On June 18th I filed a negative report, because I hadn't gotten a response. I believe it may have been my fault. I may have had the wrong email address. After I tried to contact Bob, again, he responded promptly. The work was as promised and quite fair, price wise. I would definitely use his services again. Very pleased.

The job was done quickly and professionally. He was very particular about the placement of the tile. I am very happy with the job.

As far as handymen in this area go, I really like Bob. He charges low rates. He does great work. His prices are decent. They maybe could go down a little but he is just skilled at doing a bunch of different stuff and he does what he promises to do. I like that in a handyman.
