When I initially called - prior to making my Groupon purchase - I explained that I have already lost the weight and the fat, but had lots of loose skin, and was advised that the procedure does provide some reduction/shrinkage of loose skin. After I made my purchase, I called back and scheduled 3 appointments; however, I subsequently received a message that my first appointment was canceled and I needed to reschedule all appointments (I later found out that the esthetician had quit without notice). I rescheduled my first 2 appointments and was advised that the calendar was not yet set beyond then. At session #1 on a cold night in December, after waiting ~10 minutes past my appointment time, esthetician Tavia - who related that she had only been working there for a few weeks, and with just 1 day of training - brought me to a room with no heat. After disrobing, Tavia very incorrectly "measured" me at various points, including "waist" measurement that was actually ~an inch above my waist AND, for all measurements, she pulled the tape measure somewhat tightly (because the "after" measurements were performed in like manner, the difference was accurate). She applied the first of 2 creams, wiped that off, then applied the second cream (which she did say would be "even more cold"), followed by wrapping my torso, thighs and upper arms VERY TIGHTLY in plastic wrap (feeling very mummy-like). I was laid on a table and covered with a blanket, then told that I would be there for 30-40 minutes. Tavia did leave the door cracked open and said to yell if I had a problem. I was freezing cold (to the point that my fingers, toes and ears were numb) AND the wrap was so tight that I literally could not take a deep breath. She never came back during the entire "wait" time. I could literally have died there (I did not have the strength/breath to call out, if necessary) and no one would have been aware. Afterward, Tavia re-measured me and advised that I had lost 6" overall (although I looked exactly the same and my clothes fit exactly the same). If I had not already pre-paid for 3 sessions, I would not have returned. At session #2, I specified that I wanted a warm room and this did happen. I further specified that Tavia check on me during my "wait" time, which she did. Otherwise, everything was the same as in session #1. At session #3, I was brought into the same warm room as session #2 (on time) by a different esthetician, Ashley - who related that she had worked there for just 2 weeks and had minimal training (also, she herself had visible belly fat, which made me very leery of the efficacy of treatment). While Ashley did not pull the tape measure as tightly as Tavia had done, she did measure the "waist" at ~1 inch above my actual waist and similarly improperly measured the abdomen and hips. Her methods of wrapping were a little different and to my preference and she did check on me during the "wait" period, several times. Ultimately, I feel that I experienced ZERO results from the 3 sessions and it was a 100% waste of money and time.
