"We certainly gave our customer a drawing with definitive room size measurements. A full week after the framing and hardie backer was installed and completed, Mrs. S.[Consumer name withheld at their request] decided the bathroom was too small because it looked like it should have been closer to a doorway regardless of the fact it was built to the exact measurements given to and approved by Mrs. S[Consumer name withheld at their request]. We ripped everything out for her and rebuilt at our cost as a courtesy. She made numerous changes and was verbally abusive to our workers. Our plumber walked off the job due to verbal abuse fom Mrs. S[Consumer name withheld at their request]. She retained an attorney because of the ongoing problems created by her. After numerous emails with information and documents as well as phone conversations with her attorney, I was told by Mr. S[Consumer name withheld at their request] that their attorney refused to represent them any further in this matter. We had to send a certified letter to Mr. and Mrs. S[Consumer name withheld at their request] informing them to keep the balance of money due on the project and hire another contractor as we felt Mrs. S[Consumer name withheld at their request] was a Hostile customer."
"Our apologies to the customer. We took on a painting project that we should not have. Our regular painter was ill and we tried to accommodate our customer with people we had never used before for our painting project which turned out to be a problem for us and our customer."
"As you can see the customers were happy with the work. Unfortunately they mis-understood the timeline they were given for the project. Remodeling a kitchen is a major task that involves custom made cabinets, countertops, etc. The time factor can and is affected by the jobbers we need to use depending on the custom materials picked out by our customers. We just do not have any control over our jobbers timelines for getting these cutom made materials to us. Some are faster than others. To ad to the timeline, the customers added additional work to the project that was not factored in when they had first asked us for an approx. timeline for this projects completion."
"All of our work was inspected and approved by the construction office. The customer told us he was running out of money due to adding additional work we were NOT contracted to due and that is when all the problems began. Numerous changes were made and the customer wanted a multitude of work done at no charge and mis-lead our electrician and plumber to do work for him that we were not contracted to do and wanted us to cover the cost."
"Thank you for the review. You were a pleasure to work for. We hope you enjoy your new bathroom for many years to come."
"Mr. Samuel M. [Consumer name withheld at their request] added quite a bit more work than he originally contracted for which we obliged him to complete. Mr. Samuel M. requested "Custom" oak mouldings, trim and flooring which were all special order items from our supplier. The lapse between the delivery time for these special orders and pulling our finish carpenter back and fort from other jobs during this period, contributed to a much longer completion time than expected for the original work contracted by our company."
"Thank you for the kind review. - Ben."
