OPRE'S PLUMBING & HEATING

I don't know if $450 for a new Glacier Bay toilet is reasonable or not. The reservoir leaked from the bottom and they had to come back and fix it. They came back the same day. On 8/29/10, the copper pipe that brings water into the toilet became detached from the coupling into the reservoir. Water shot out of the copper pipe like a fountain. The bathroom was flooded, plus the rugs in my bedroom and hallway. The water got under the carpet and vinyl flooring and the sub floor was wet. The water flowed under the floor and the insulation and composite that sealed the bottom of the mobile home was wet and trashed also. Opre's Plumbing & Heating disavowed any responsibility. "Your toilet moved" they said. Why did it move? Was it installed correctly in the first place? They charged me $195 to reconnect the pipe to the coupling, this time with a flexible hose. Now the toilet has a slight leak from the bottom. Opre's Plumbing & Heating says that is because my sub floor is warped due to the flooding and they will reseat the toilet for $100. No thank you.
