THE WALL DOCTOR

While Mike came off as a nice enough guy, the signs of trouble became apparent when he used my brand new granite bathroom sink as a slop sink (we have a utility sink in the laundry room downstairs) & he put no dropcloths down & put paint containers on top of my parents mahogany dresser without so much as a paper towel. The spotless rug was stained in multiple spots as was the brand new iron railings in my hallway & the marble threshold leading from bathroom. As for the walls, drips were left on walls, painting was uneven, spackling was spotty, & everything was sloppy. We gave him another chance to fix everything at which time he behaved like a petulant child rather than a professional. This guy could have easily had another 4-5 weeks of work at our home at about $1000.00 per but even in this economy this guy wasn't capable of putting in a decent day's work. He started at 8:30am & was done before 2:30pm everyday. We also believe he needs glasses because these mistakes were obvious from a distance & unless he's just a careless slob (which might be why the 2 White Castle boxes fell out of his driver's side door & were left in my driveway when he came to pick up his check)!
