Keith Singer MECHANICAL LLC

Avoid using Keith Singer for any plumbing work.  We hired him to install a gas fired burner to
convert our oil steam furnace to gas.  
He seemed nice and competent in the beginning but once it got cold
outside the furnace would shut off and stop working.   Keith came over a few times and there was
always an issue outside of his installation that caused the unit not to
work.   We even had a pipe freeze and
burst in the house on a cold day when the unit stopped working for 10 hours.  He always seemed annoyed when we called that
the furnace shut off again.   He kept
coming up with excuses on why the unit wasn?t working and what the manufacturer
was telling him.  He also said that he
needed a special machine to measure how the unit was setup which he didn?t have
and would try to borrow one from someone he knew.  The final straw was when the unit failed
again when it was around 15 degrees outside and we texted him to see what we
could do so the pipes didn?t freeze again. 
His response shocked us, he called my son back and cursed him out for 10
minutes and told him not to bother him anymore. 
I called the manufacturer who gave me the number of the local
distributor who recommended a qualified plumber with experience on this
burner.  The new plumber came over in 30
minutes and spent 2 hours basically reinstalling everything that Keith
did.   The entire unit was not setup
correctly and the system had to be re-calibrated.  It was obvious that Keith Singer had no idea
what he was doing and should not have performed this work.  They also gave me a number of items that were
not installed by code which they will come back to correct.  Avoid using this plumber.
