The truck arrived within the time frame, but they sent a huge truck, semi-sized. How he got it down the narrow twisting hills and valleys of the one-lane road I will never know, but he pulled up in front and said, "I'm not sure I can get this into your driveway." Then he paused and looked at me as if he expected me to solve that. I said, "Do you want to see the situation in back before you try?" and he got out of the truck, leaving it running, and came down into my backyard. I know where the septic tank is, so I showed him and said, "I'm pretty sure the cap is somewhere in here," an area about three feet by twelve feet. He said, "There's a digging fee." I said, "I know," and he went back to the truck and got his tools. He dug one hole that was about four inches wide and four inches deep and found the pipe. And then he stopped and looked at me. I said, "Well, that's a start," so he dug another hole, about 4" x 4" and hit a rock. And then he stopped and looked at me. I said, "Maybe if you tried a little closer to the tank." So he dug another 4"x4" hole and got nothing. At which point, he stopped and looked at me. This guy was hopeless, so I said, "We have to move the truck before we do anything else, it's a one lane road and you're blocking it." He said, "I don't think I can get it in your driveway," and yep, paused and looked at me again. I said, "Do you have a smaller truck?" He said, "Yes." And then looked at me. Here's the thing: When I hire a contractor who says he's an expert, I expect expert help. I do not expect somebody who expects me to tell him what to do. So I said, "Maybe bring back the smaller truck," and followed him out to the road where he charged me $160.00 for three small holes and no service. Nobody called to follow up or to schedule a smaller truck, so at this point, these people aren't getting any more of my money. If you live on a normal road and know where the cap to your septic tank is, these people are probably very good. But it you need a service that can solve problems, this is not it.

Septic Experts did a great job.  they were punctual and very courteous. I would definitely recommend them .
